Sounds like Travis was a little pissed about it per this quote from the article in Go Griz.

With Breunig at the helm of second year head coach Travis DeCuire's squad, UM has gone 28-8 in Big Sky play in the last two seasons.

"I guess 28-8 hasn't earned the respect of the coaches in this conference," says DeCuire. "We have work to do."

The snub from the coaches doesn't bother Breunig however, as he and the Grizzlies depart for Reno on Tuesday afternoon with one goal in mind: earning a trip to the NCAA tournament.

How in the hell can they get a count wrong? Speaking of count, let's countdown for EG's asking WTH, are we doing in this conference? (or something like that). Got to admit, that is the million $ question.

There is just a lack of professionalism in this conference. This miscue regarding MB selection is just a small example. They either miscounted, misreported or changed their minds due to pressure. If you are going to present something that is a prestigious conference award then get it GD right! It's not that hard. I am sure MB was disappointed when he saw he was not unanimous selection and Bolomboy and Telfair were. He earned better from our conference.

Not disagreeing with either selection just pointing out that some letters seem to have gone missing from their names on the Big Sky Conference site. Did anyone even bother to proof read this shit before it got posted on their site?

Anyway... One could make a strong case for Oguine getting honorable mention. Disappointing he wasn't rewarded with that after he had a hell of a true freshman year both offensively and defensively.

I think I like Skyline Sports awards better. Plus at least that site spelled the names correctly.
