And can someone explain to me how O'Connell and Ford were NOT unanimous selections? What kind of clown car act show is the BSC running here?

I don't think there was a single defensive player that was an unanimous selection , even Andersen.
 
That's 3 straight newcomer of the year awards for the Griz. Sneed won it in 2018, Knight won it in 2019, and now deservedly so with Ford. Junior Bergen got snubbed though. RJ Martinez is good, but Bergen did more for us than Martinez did for NAU. Bergen saved our season.

NAU fans would argue Martinez saved theirs too. Otherwise they might have gone 4-7. :lol: :lol: :lol:
 
You knew this was coming months ago, just based on the players of the week picks.

How is Brian Buschini not the freshman of the year? He's the best at his position in the D-I football.

If you want to give the award to a freshman called into action who made a difference, how is Junior Bergen not freshman of the year.

This conference is the worst.
 
I feel like Omar should’ve at least got something. He didn’t have the picks that Ford had but he was a lock down corner.

Hopefully what he'll get is drafted. The NFL scouts pay little attention to this popularity contest.
