BS Tourney Griz vs the green birds Thursday 11AM

Pretty awesome though that the BSC flew in the play by play announcers from Mississippi State to call the game on Pluto.
 
Was part of the game plan to let Dale Jones absolutely light up three-pointers? That dude couldn't miss. We need to get back to scoring in the paint down low with akoh. I think he had 20+ points both times we've matched up with these guys
 
1) The flop fouls are just complete bullshit 90% of the time. Can't believe ANY ref falls for that BS.
2) I HATE the fact that the refs call the regular season ONE way, then completely change their methodology during the tourney. WTF? How is ANY team supposed to know from one game to the next what to expect?

I think this is one of the best officialed games UM has been part of in years. One bad call against Oguine with Crandall flopping,and doing it well. Other than that, it is rough under the basket for Krislovic and Akoh.
 
I don’t know how to feel about that half. Good that it is tied. Good that no one is foul trouble. Good that they are playing loose.

Lots of sloppy turnovers, quick shots, with UND sort of abandoning any interior post offense it is going to be hard on Kryslo and Akoh. Maybe the turnovers more than anything else has allowed UND some great looks in transition or off of one reversal.

Unbelievable shooting half by UND behind the arc and much of that is Jones. They are on their way to 30 threes in the game. The defense just hasn’t been able to lock down, because they have gotten so stretched out.

If UND continues with this, Pridgett is going to get a lot of run in the second half.

Fine. Why not call the whole season like that then? Why the 180 degree change for the tournament?

UND is 53% behind the arc....Griz are 66.7%. Unbelievable. Neither will hold up...

I think the NCAA tourney is the reason. This is UM's first game of their NCAA tourney and good officials know the NCAA calls are few. I like this...I was surprised at the Flop.
 
I don't have a great feeling about this one. UND is taking advantage of the constant switching defenses and is hitting wide open, uncontested looks.
