Word.

I try to make it every holiday season...and we have pasties every Christmas Eve.

If we had a decent way to make our own porkchop sandwiches, we'd do that religiously, too.

One guess where I grew up.
Uhhh, Cornwall England?

No thats pasties, ya know the cornish pasty?

Joe's Pasty Shop off of Harrison is excellent. As Hammer knows they use steak and the gravy they slather that light puff shell in is mmmm good. Saw several folks doing carry out with it.

Actually I prefer Nancys over Joes but the best pasty in Butte is up on main at the B&S Cafe. They only make them on wednesdays but they are great. They remind me of the pasties that you used to get at some church's pasty sale fundraiser, where everybodys grandma got together and made them!

Love Joes, may have to try Nancy's. My grandma specialized in grits and fried chicken so I rely upon the golden city of Butte for my pastie education.

Is Nancy's still in business? Last time I came to Butte I dove up there and the place was closed up. That's been a couple years ago now.

Yep - had some earlier this summer....

I always thought the best pasties were from Gamer's...are they even there? That building has to be 125 years old.

Strippers used to be required by law to wear pasties...but they complained alot about the gravy.

(Seems like I inquired at Gamer's, but thought I heard they aren't an everyday item.)
