Associate AD and head of marketing for Grizzly Athletics has left the school for a job at AWARE. She was a great asset. Nationwide search to replace her is underway. Guessing it won’t be much of a search.

PS- to all my NACMA friends, they will be doing a national search to fill the position in the spring. It’s an awesome place to work and Missoula is an incredible place to live. Keep an eye out for the job posting!

Well we’ll see. I wouldn’t rule out them doing that as well, as nice as it is to bring in an outsider with fresh new ideas. They do have a kid on staff currently who came from Ohio State a little over a year ago. He spent some time at Clemson too so he’s worked at a lot of big time places. Plus he’s a former college football player so it might be his time to shine. I wouldn’t mind though if they did a national search though and brought in someone new, but I wouldn’t be upset if they stuck with somebody already on staff.

That said, this is a big loss for the Griz! Brynn was outstanding and did a phenomenal job taking the marketing to a whole new level, and she will be greatly missed by Griz Nation, and I think we all owe her a huge thank you for her many years of service to the Griz! Thank you Brynn!

What if there is somebody talented from within that knows the job? Should they not promote from within if there is a quality replacement?
