If I were a coach, I would copy and paste certain parts of that article to a word document, and have them enlarged. Then I would have it posted all over the locker room. Stuff like that is ammo for our arsenal, and would probably get our players even more fired up for this game! I wonder if our coaches do stuff like that.

At home on the road

NAU played back-to-back road games against D-I opponents (ASU and UNLV) to begin the season.

Not that the Lumberjacks don’t know what to expect heading to Montana, but it’s always good to get some travel and crowd hostility under their belts before conference play ramps up.

The Grizz faithful shouldn’t be anything NAU hasn’t seen.

Is this the student paper? For the writer's sake, I sure hope so. That is about as ill-informed an article as I have ever seen about sports. Maybe this writer should switch to writing about politics....?

I doubt the crowd will much of an issue for NAU this weekend - it is hot and smokey, which subdues the crowd, and worst of all, it is homecoming, which is always the mellowist crowd of the year. I expect lots of bitching on these boards about how bad the crowd was.

It's not a bad article but you can feel how he knows NAU's chances are not good unless all the stars align for them. It'll be 0-15 by Saturday evening.
