The Goicoechea, Fitzgerald, and Colter brothers were solid players in the 90's and early 2000's

All but the oldest Goicoechea have a national championship ring.

Great Columbus connections; Greg and John Fitzgerald both played for the Cougars and the Colter's mom was a Columbus girl.

If a muffed punt or fumble is not lost to the other team, it doesn't matter and it doesn't hurt the team. Just like a bad pass dropped by a defender doesn't count as an interception. I can just see the comment. Our QB threw 5 interceptions that were dropped by the other team. LOL.
