Not true. Did not happen numerous times. Happened several times. Rarely resulted in big negative yardage. A figment of some people's imagination. I recall looking at some of these posts on egriz after games, and wondering how much the poster had been drinking, how much of their mind was left, whether they were have blind, etc. Some of this seemed to be coming from the same people who claimed that John N. fumbled all the time. Again, zero lost fumbles in 3 years as a starting rb and starting returner for a couple of those years. Probably close to a world record.
Yes, JLM has terrific hands and does a better job fielding punts. No disagreement there.
