Saw on the news that Amy Brooks is transferring to Carroll. Anyone know the details, was it playing time?

Has she made it official now?
About a week ago she verballed to Carroll but hadn't informed the UofM about it. She was thinking about withdrawing her verbal.
She wants to play 30+ minutes/game and be the main offensive threat. She didn't feel that would happen with the Lady Griz. That may be true, but she would have been a main player on next year's team. She had a good chance to be starting as a junior. Personally, I don't understand the move. :-?

I just heard that Amy was upset about a big girl recruit that was told she would have a starting position. I seriously doubt that Robin would tell an incoming freshman that she would start without earning it. I wonder if a recruiter made a promise in order to land a talent, again...if it's even true. I didn't think they had anymore scholarships to recruit a big girl.
Anyway, it's what I heard. Take it with a grain of salt.

Robinson from Billings is the only big girl coming in the fall.

i wish brooks would have stayed. she could have been a solid player for the lady griz the next 2 years. she will dominate at carrol.
