Brooks Davis is Staying

Ah Yat would be watching Jordan Johnson, Gillman would be watching Chase, and Davis is no Louie-McGee
Loved JJ, but enlighten us on when JJ had 4,000 passing yards or 69% completion percentage in a season. And Chase is an all-timer, but if EG had Chase's offensive line I'd venture that he would have rushed for upwards of 2,000 yards. You can't say the Griz have an awful offensive line and in the next breath say that EG wouldn't have been better with some of the historic Griz offensive lines.

Do you just post stuff to be argumentative? Just love to be the iconoclast? In your mind, have you ever changed your mind based on info someone else provided, or are you infallible?

I'll take JJ's three wins over the Cats, including two on the road, over any individual stats. And, Reyonds would make any line look better.

Hike is clueless about football and Griz football. He's definitely lost it. 25 years he knew a bit. Now, he's just a troll and basicallydumb poster about football things. For the whole 25, most of his posts could be summarized in about a half dozen things or themes. He just repeats them. He seems to quit talking about his scout friend in recent times, tho.

Who’s my scout friend? Keeping licking Bobby’s bung huluhoop

this is good news, he's definitely a high caliber player. it was also good to read his comment saying his injury wasn't very serious.

Great post, Crunch!

Jordy was the qb when I was at UM but Ah Yat as a sophomore is already better than Johnson was as a redshirt senior.
I'd say JJ had more swagger, was more of a vocal leader, and could do a lot more damage with his legs. This is tough one though, both are great in their own ways.

Another thing is, I believe Ah Yat had more talented receivers and a better RB in Gilman. Helps the passing game when every teams main goal is to stop Eli.

Ah Yat is also a sophomore. The leadership swagger stuff can come with more time.

I'm sorry, but this is just a ridiculous thing to say.

JJ also played under the last great offensive lines we ever had in '11 and '13.

He was a dang good QB, but IMO Ah Yat has already shown he's a more skilled QB than JJ ever was.
