AllWeatherFan said:Boise doesn’t know how to step on their opponents’ throats. If they did, their opponent would not have been able to breathe, and surely would have lost to Boise. They didn’t have the fire in their eyes. The coaches eyes I mean. The players had some fires in their eyes but they weren’t properly prepared on how to use the fire. Their play-calling was boring and predictable. And the worst part? Very, very, very, very, very, very slow-developing. A lot like that last sentence. And no fire in its eyes, either.
Go ahead and call me a Neggie. Sticks and stones and all that crap. But I love the program with all my heart, and I just want to see it brought back to its former glory. I mean the Glory Years (1995 and 2001). Yep, those were the Years. We had fire in our eyes and we stepped on throats like there was no tomorrow. And every boy on the team was a Montana boy, and he got good grades, and he respected his Grandma, and he was not some kind of an inner-city thug. He even respected his opponent, right after he finished stepping on his throat because of the killer instinct that Coach read and Coach Glenn taught him. Unlike the current slow-developing coaches who have that deer in the headlights look and don’t make the necessary adjustments and don’t do any creative play-calling and don’t have killer instincts or step on throats.
So, go ahead and knock yourselves out against Fort Louie. In the Golden Year we played only teams with winning records that didn’t mind having their throats stepped on too much. So we did. As I said. Yes, go ahead and line up eight yards behind the quarterback, and lose yards because of the uncreative, slow-developing nature of the play, brought about by poor coaching and lack of adjustments. And all the while, Randy Moss just keeps on setting records because of his coaches and their creative and fast-developing play-calling. It just makes me sick, I tell you. Sick! Randy Moss has fire in his eyes, I'll tell you that. He runs like a deer, not like a deer in the headlights. Wait.
I am a better fan than any of you, because I understand the nature of the problem and I have the courage to use my real name and tell it like it is instead of hiding behind some anonymous user name like grizvox or Dave Guffey.
I was talking to Bart Starr last night and he agreed with everything I just said.
