As a person who lived through the Vietman War (did not serve), the use of POW is really offensive to me, and I can only imagine what memories it has to Veterns. I realize the poster is probably not old enough to know what a POW is, but I'm still wearing a bracelet. Congrats to Brock for being name Player of the Week!!

You "can only imagine what memories it has to Veterans"? I'm one of them, and no you can't. The words jumping off the page of your post is DID NOT SERVE. You don't have the right to have your sensibilities in a wad. Sit in a quiet place for ahwile, rub your bracelet, purr a little, and all will be well.

All will never be well for my best friend whose bracelet I have on my wrist. He is\was a POW. As for my not serving, I was classified as 4-F, not that you have any idea of what that means.

Another egriz instant classic

Can you actually major in shark jumping at UM?

And another d bag post by the head kitty troll. Go back to your own board where you can talk the few others on there.

Thanks for confirming your irrelevance  not really, piss off dude

Egriz, where the fans' egos are more important than the players on the field.

And to think it's taken you nearly ten years to figure that out. What does that say about an MSU education? Now we know.

P-o-o-r B-o-b-c-a-t-s.....

Really...really poor.

You know what really offends me? People being offended about what people are offended about. What's the chance of actually having some threads stay on track and talking about the kid. Good job to him keep it up and bring it this week.

I was at the E/W Shrine game when Brock played and he dominated that game. I remember thinking he was playing like a man among boys and I was glad he had signed with the Griz!

Congrats, Brock with many more Player of the Week honors to come! :thumb:

Here are some season stats that should drag this thread back where it belongs -- showing that Brock has been a hammer all year long.
First, BC is first in solo tackles, with 18 (Hermason is second with 17). He is second in “shared” tackles, with 38 (Tripp is first with 43). The way they calculate such things, that makes Brock first in the overall tackle category.

There are other numbers that reinforce his accomplishments. 'Nuff said.

I'm still waiting to hear from the "insiders" how Stuberg is actually better than Coyle, at anything.

Pass coverage - per the coaching staff. Stu has shown more range and quickness when dropping into coverage. I think you'll see him out there in more 3rd and long passing situations.

More Griz stats:
Coyle: 3 pass breakups, 3 deflections, and one QB hurry. He does not have any INTs.
Same stats in those categories as Zach Wagenmann, who, BTW, leads in tackles for loss (7.5 for 44 yards).
Stuberg has 1 BU, 1 PD, no QBh, and no INTs.

yeah, someone else mentioned that too, and that's exactly what i'm getting at. Guess i'll believe it when i see it. I actually think their qualities are the opposite. Stu might have a slight edge when it comes to filling A or B gaps but that's it. As for pass coverage, quickness/range is not as important as reading the play, being in the correct position in the first place, and playing assignment football. I probably sound like i'm doggin on Stu but i'm just a big BC fan.
