Brint, what's happening in Spring Ball?

Damn tired of hearing only about debris floating in 30' waves; there must be some football going on in Zootown that can be shared with us distant addicts...

I don't live in Missoula, but what's with the Missoulian and its (lack of) coverage of spring football??? Lousy! I have to get a copy of the Billings Gazette to find out anything about Griz football.

Someone please give some kind of update about this team. Nothing in the Great Falls Tribune ever.

1) Delaney is dog-shit. Doesn’t know what he is doing and is over his head.
2) Play calling will once again be questionable.
3) Gregorak is way overrated
4) So far, the crowd noise at practice sucks and isn’t like it was in the good ole days
5) I heard Engstrom had the field flooded so they would have to cancel practice
6) We are not, nor ever will be NDSU. Their practices are that good.

There, you are all up to date. Stop bitching.

This week I've been attending some advanced classes for real estate education, add in that this weeks practices have been at night and I've not been to a practice yet. Once again praxtices are closed to the public (but open for QB club to attend - which I am a member of) so tweeting from practices once again can't happen. However I'm planning to attend a few and I'll be at all three scrimmages, live tweeting those.

All I've heard so far has been leading in to spring camp, the new strength training program has been really well received. I know O-line guys are really liking it. One other player I talked to was surprised by how much lifting their was. Said it's been an adjustment but he's liking the change so far. There's still plenty of cardio work, it's just separated from some strength training drills now.

Also hearing some good stuff in the trenches. The younger contingent of offensive lineman are really feisty and scrappy and are trying to set a tone as being a meaner and more intimidating unit. I've heard of a few dust ups.

brint: what do you think about our depth? what areas are lacking and what areas are strong?

Haven't seen a practice yet so it's hard to say. I'll give some thoughts on that tomorrow after the first scrimmage.

On the surface based on the depth chart areas I'm worried about with depth are LB, S, DT, TE in that order.

Must be living in a cave on the Musselshell. Do you really expect any decent football coverage from the Missoulian after all that has transpired?
