Bringing College Gameday to Cat/Griz

Baller1 said:
This is so annoying. The GameDay thing gets brought up every year. This will NEVER happen. So many delusional Griz fans, its ridiculous. ESPN is a business.....what type of revenue/ratings would they generate doing a 1-AA/FCS game? They would probably lose money and have advertisers back out for doing something so stupid.

Wake up Griz Nation.....I'm a Griz fan like most on here, but there are times when its embarrassing to be a part of this fan base. This is one of them.
It's almost happened before. ...you underestimate. Just because the show is here dies not mean it's all about fcs. It would still not really talk about fcs...but espn could easy make a story out if it. Plus many espn people have interest in this university

"It's almost happened before"

That statement holds absolutely zero credibility. Sorry. What do you mean by almost? What proof do you have?
I would venture to say that it has never almost happened and never will. Do you really think a few thousand Facebook Likes will get a multi-billion dollar company like ABC/ESPN's attention?

Didn't Gameday happen at Harvard/Yale a couple years ago? Seems like they were at a SWAC location at some point too..
There weren't rape issues at those schools ...
Dumbass cat fan, what else would you expect.

Any university in the country has issues with rape, this may shock you, but with the amount of kids at a school, some dumb-asses think they can get away with something they can't.

Everytime that the gameday crew discusses anything FCS, they seem uneducated and out of their element. Hell, they will only talk about a lower FBS conf if their intent is to run them down vs a top 25. The only snootier show than gameday is everything BTN. If the BTN could get away with showing only half the field and not show any pics of the FCS opponents during BTN games, they'd do it. Half time shows are more biased than the games. Hard to even watch for me . . . Paints the B1G in a pretty bad light as far as im concerned.

You're right, that's why it would be good for the GameDay crew to come to Wa/Griz and see FCS where it works well. They'd learn something about college football outside the SEC/Big10/Big12/Pac12 axis. It would be good TV.

WRONG.............ALL schools have this problem...............jackass

"Between 2008 and 2010, about four rapes were reported to the Harvard University Police Department each year. The number of rapes on campus, however, is much higher—an average 15 per year—according to the University report."

Nothing wrong with piling onto an ignorant cat fan living in a fantasy land, where MSU never has any legal issues.

It went like this...

Producer: Hey we should go to Missoula Montana to do College Gameday for the FCS playoffs.
Chris Fowler: Huh?
Kirk Herbstreet: Doesn't Joe Montana's kid go there?
Desmond Howard: They are the team that beat the team that beat Michigan.
Lee Corso: You want me to go to Montana in December... Go Fvck yourself.
Producer: Ok we will go to Tuscaloosa instead.
