I guess it was a semantical thing city. I was agreeing with you. My point was the U did him a favor so he can move on with his chosen profession. Pretty much what you said. I just hope he got the help he apparently needs.
UM also did itself a favor by handling it in a "classy manner". By letting a coach leave in a way that preserves his dignity and his viability, it sends a message out to future hires about the organization. Marso is a well known coach, with lots of friend, granted he is a love or hate him kind of guy, and it is better to grease the wheels than to piss off people.
