This might have something to do with it:
0-3 start, including loss to Rice and getting crushed by Arizona.
9-15 record for the past two year. Got into a bowl game in 2014 with a 7-5 record, but lost to end up with a 7-6 record. Not horrible, but not too encouraging either.
 
So, your defense gives up 56 to Oklahoma and 63 to U of A.

The natural move is to fire the OFFENSIVE coordinator. Makes perfect sense.

Offense last year was like the 3rd worse in FBS, and it hasn't improved. I'd expect to see him apply for the NAU job.

Don't agree. Pease was the king. TG not even close. Heard that Pease get some of this to Haslam when they were both at NAU.
 
I'm still confused how Brent got canned by Chris Peterson at UW in December of 2015 shortly before their bowl game. You don't can a receivers coach at that time of year unless something is really messed up. I believe at the time they stated they needed a fresh start at the position. I wish him well, but Brent has to be running out of options.
