Just got off the phone with #GrizFB's athletic director Kent Haslam. He says this is "absolutely false" and "no final decision has been made."

Regardless whether Hauck has been hired or not, Haslam is a f***ing clown show.

What did you expect him to say?

Why doesn't he just say nothing, instead of potentially telling a lie. The department has apparently been leaking stuff to Amie. Haslam should be able to just tell her that he can't/won't comment, and please don't print that.

This really doesn't seem like that big of a deal to me. I wanted Hauck, he picked Hauck. I can forgive how he worded, or Amie translated, exactly what he said. *shrugs shoulders*

Yep agreed. He needs the BOR stamp of approval before he can make it official. Probably just became a HR nightmare for him andccsught him off guard so he went with "no it's false....shit I gotta go!"

Im surprised they were able to keep it quiet this long. Kudos. However, now that the genie’s out of the bottle, a rapid media response would be the right move to slam the door on the folks I’ll put in the “others” category, just to keep the terminology PG...it’s an interesting move by skyline, in essence increasing the pressure and optics on the BOR. Yep....this has not been a shining example of information transparency and status updates. I realize he doesn't HAVE to keep us updated but....

It is a public university, subject to open records laws. All information related to the coach hunt could be requested
