Generally for a place like WaGriz they’d give at least 7 points for home field, implying a neutral field line would be at 10.5 points. I’m not a big gambler though, so others can correct me if I’m wrong.

Right, but for some reason a lot of those voters have said they think we're going to lose this weekend in write-ups, tweets and prognostications.

Which we definitely might! I just get the sentiment that many of them voted us ahead because of our record, but still think the cats are the better team (more power to them, though).

Has ZERO to do with who they think will win the game. They establish the line so that 50% of the money goes to either side of it. That's why the line moves when the money is uneven.
