sorry, but that's your take...Benson is the higher rated recruit and a good get for you guys. Most know that a class doesn't come down to one kid. Our enthusiasm is for our overall class that is shaping up. You guys recruit well for FCS. However, if you don't regularly out-recruit your instate rival, then does it really matter?

Nagler, Bradshaw and Rosling are the top 3 players in the state. Cat's may have more Montana kids, but we have the best. I doubt half the MSU in-state recruits ever play there. Many are Frontier material.

Cats should pull in the reins, be quiet and recruit. I know all teams like to gloat about recruits and how great their guys are going to be. Lots of question marks on both sides but also lots of reason for hope.

Cat fans just have this history of hyping up their "talent" only to later fall back on a severe "lack of talent" as a reason for the late season swoons. I recall the Roderick and Brekke hype just a couple years ago. Man they got the Griz with those two! Did Roderick even see the field last year? Will either one of those two win a Griz/Cat game?

Trace Bradshaw is a 6'3" 225 gridiron wrecking ball. I've followed his exploits all season. Bradshaw was one of the best two-way standouts in the state, helping his high school to win their 3rd state title in just 6 seasons. In the class AA, offensively, he was named 1st team All-State when he rushed for 972 yards and 14 TDs on 155 carries. Bradshaw was named Defensive CO-MVP of the Eastern AA conference (along with teammate Peyton O'Reilly). Trace is obviously a Shrine Game selection this summer in Butte, and will play on the defensive line--where I will see more of him. As a DT, he had one of the best seasons in his high schools football history, tallying 100 tackles with 14 tackles for loss and a forced fumble. 8 sacks and 16 quarterback hurries proved he got after QBs as well. The play-maker even snagged an INT. I am thrilled to have landed this bozeman beast, he's a winner.
 
I thought we weren't bashing recruits? Wish the kids well and let them be happy with their choices. The Griz will get better but we need the whole BSC to get better as well. Pounding a hapless state college, while fun recently, isn't getting us anywhere. I for one hope Choate makes a difference. Beating a competitive state college & auto will be infinitely more satisfying in the long run and go a long way to getting our boys ready for the national stage.

Now the f$&king drill rod know as dic3kgt, unleash the hounds. I mean unleash CDA. You know what I mean.

You almost sounded smart, until the last sentence. If you haven't been paying attention to learn that the Griz are awesome and the Cats suck at recruiting, you might actually be beyond help. Then again, I guess it's only been this way for about 30 years, so maybe it doesn't matter that your record against the Griz over that time period is Washington General-esque.

Smart kid. Scats defense the last couple of years has been one of the worst in fcs. Watching the
Griz / Cat game makes the decision easy....

I don't get the big deal about Bradshaw...He is good, but I wouldn't say he is great at Defense. He only averages about 6 rebounds a game, but he does hustle quite well, seems to get in foul trouble a bit, but he is really the only True Center on the team. Good get for the Griz I guess.

Do they seriously use the slogan: "Vim Let it out"? Wow. "Vim" really does mean "piss". The recruit in the middle clearly has to let his Vim out soon. My 3yro does the same thing when its about time to vim.

So he is going to play center and defensive line? Awesome. Not often you see guys playing both ways in college. He could turn out to be the steal of this class.
