Bradshaw of Bozeman commits

Hard to "own the State", when the Cat's can't even own their own town.

cats don't own anything, other than that old jalopy they won OVER THREE DECADES AGO in 1984. That thing is so old and decrepit.

Course come to thing about it, the two Griz Div 1 National Championship trophie(S) have been collecting some dust as well--not nearly as much as Ag state's though. TIME FOR SOME NEW ONES for one of the most dominant teams in FCS football, the MONTANA GRIZZLIES :!:

Vim, good for you to take some ribbing from us dedicated Griz fans. You do an excellent job and I enjoy reading your informational posts. For a cat fan you are simply a good guy. Nice to see you doing a great job and posting on our site. You rank as the best cat poster on Egriz in my opinion!

Good time to post this to keep things in perspective about who is "owning the state". I'll be adding to it when signing day is over.

You do realize there's a Sentinel kid going to MSU this coming fall?

Name a city of Missoula kid that ever went to Ag state and ever was a decorated player in college?

They didn't want him anyway....go over to their board and its the 15th coming of preseason poll glory........again!

How is it any different than here? You guys are the preseason favorite to win the conference every year and future years.

That is because we have earned it .... Wow little brother.... Time to grab a clue :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

This comeback is, and always will be, the best response anyone can ever give on a message board. Gold! I use it often.

But i thought there was a changing of the guard taking place in Bozeman??? They can't keep their homegrown talent anymore???

Don't fret, VIM will say they didn't want the 1st Team All State DL and the 1st Team All State RB from this past state championship team all rolled into one player. :?

I have done nothing but praise Trace and even have stated on Bobcatnation how I did not agree with MSU not offering him. See both my posts on the Montana recruits page and the actual recruiting page. Both glowing reviews. I even ranked him as the best DT in the Shrine Game. What do you want from me! I'm glad Trace gets to go to a school that offered him.

I don't think anyone sane on here questions you Vim, you've been pretty unbiased...other scat fans, not so much.
Thanks, it's nice to talk football over here

Why don't you talk about about the player the Griz just recruited and who the original post is about. He deserves a congrats from the Griz faithful. I think Egriz agrees with me. Offer something to the conversation.

Here is my write-up on Bradshaw for the Shrine Game Breakdowns. Posted this about two weeks ago:

Trace Bradshaw tops the list of defensive tackles playing in this game. The Bozeman product was described by Coach Troy Purcell as "the best 3-Tech I have ever coached." The first thing that stands out to me on Trace's film is his tenacity. Plays football the right way. Second, he has good feet, evident by his 970 rushing yards his senior season for the Hawks (split duties with Balue Chapman). He does an excellent job of shedding blocks and hits the ball carrier hard. As a recruit, he has room to bulk up at 235 lbs. Put him on a college training program and watch out in two years. Also, DT is definitely his best position if he wants to play at the next level. A knock on him would be his "get off" at the line of scrimmage. However, once he gets moving, he flips a switch. In terms of high school, he is the best pure 3-tech playing in this game on either side. He has an offer from the Griz and interest from the Cats. Also has offers from nearly every Montana NAIA school. Trace is a good basketball player as well and just a good overall athlete. Interested to see where he ends up. He was the Eastern AA Co-Defensive Player of the Year.

I think Vim is easily the best cat poster around. Generally everything he says is very fair and unbiased. I am still blown away by how much he knows about these kids and recruiting classes, same with Payton.....when do you guys work??????? haha Appreciate everything both of you guys do tho!

Coming from you Badlands....that means a lot  I'm actually serious though. You are one of the biggest Griz homers around so for you to say that means I must be doing something right.
Hey man I love busting the rivals balls more than anyone. But I admit to talent when I see it haha

Nope, you are wrong. I think the Cats wanted him, but sometimes a kid wants to go to a different place than where he grew up. Good luck to him in the future, I think you guys got a really good one here.

He had an offer from the Griz, and no offer from the Cats. I'm sure we "wanted" him, but our current situation at DL is pretty bleak so we need dudes that can play now, not in 2-3 years. Don't get me wrong, he's a beast and will develop into a dominant DT. We just don't have the roster space today. Good on ya Griz. Ya got a good one.
Do the Cats even have a DT transfer that verballed who is going to play next season? I know you had Bruggman and Neale but I don't remember seeing any guys who are going to help out the D-line next year. Losing Sheridan off the line is a huge loss at the DT spot for you guys I thought that might be an area of concern.
