First off Bozeman High is going to get a Butte Style beatdown in front of 6000+ faithful at Naranche Stadium tomorrow night and then Saturday our Griz become our Griz again and administer the annual Beatdown to little brother from down the road. Gonna be a great weekend of football, I just hope sunday is enough to recover!!!!

I just laugh every time I think about last year's game. The expectations were so high for the Scats last year ranked #1 and the whole changing of the guard program thing. We walked in behind Zach Minter's parents arrogant as hell and they smelled like dube. They made fun of our Griz gear and we basicallly told em to shove it. Another doche bag asked us if we were "ready for the beat down". We told em yes but I doubt you are. The Griz just donkey punched em in the pecker man it was great. We left driving behind the Divide Trophy leaving Blowzman people were crying it was fuggin great. I expect more of the same this year the cats are an overated poser at #2 in the country and expectations are very high again. I don't think it will be as bad as last season but then again I might be wrong.

Last year ranks as the best scat griz game I've been to. Being there in 97 was awesome for different reasons, but the anger last year from scat fans towards anyone wearing griz gear, was the greatest moment in the history of the big game. scat fans yelling "Griz suck" at the end of the game, and just nodding at them and replying "sure do" with a smile was a fucking blast. The cannery after the game was great as well, seeing the same douches who gave shit 24 hours earlier...Gawd that was fun.

your team had a great game plan last year along with a great quarterback to execute it. your coaching staff could come up with another great game plan again this year but im afraid your quarterback situation, to carry out this plan, is nowhere near as solid as it was last year.

Actually it was more running game and defense than QB play last year.

Its gonna be Exactly like 2 years ago. Hawks dominate their way to a state championship on Friday, then the jizz go down in hippie town on Saturday. Good Luck to everyone involved. ESG no means no

Haha, jcat or whatever your name is, I have to give Cat fans credit, those shirts are good and funny. I'm actually looking forward to seeing them in the stadium on Saturday in person. But I still like the ones we had made every year through the streak. Simple, a white t-shirt with the number 1, then 2, then 3, then 4, then 5, then 6, then 7, well you get the idea. It got to the point, where I started putting the new number on them BEFORE the game was played. When the Cats can win more than an average of two games against the Griz every seven years, and more than 1.5 playoff games per decade, than this will be more than what I call an emotional rivalry. Sure it means everything to the state, to the fans and in the hearts of the players, but seriously dude, this hasn't been much of a rivalry between the lines in a long, long, long time. And unlike what Cat fans think, I'm not living in the acient past. I'm talking about 12 months ago the Griz trucked the Cats for what, the fifth time in SIX seasons. Seriously, even IF the Cats win Saturday, and on paper, they should win, the Griz will have STILL won six of the last nine. THAT'S NOT A RIVALRY. Rivalries are supposed to be close.

Edit: BTW, The Hawks will lose to Butte at Naranche. Bozeman's coach is a good friend of mine, but the Hawks won't beat Butte Friday night.

1 DOWN 1 to go!!!!!!!

Last years beatdown was so over so quick. Seems like a decent cat fan would keep his mouth shut until they show us they can beat us. #1 ranked last year and they continued to lose after we "hammered" them!

Now they are ranked #2 --- blowin----- bragn-----BSn------labeling us------finding fault-------on and on they go.

Sure some of us feel sorry for msu's team but the squeals coming from their fans sounds like pigs at a slaughter house. It is a shame the entire state of Montana is embarrassed of such poor actions.

Yawn, one could hope for more class.
