Boise's Peterson to Washington....

Per multiple reports, Boise State coach Chris Peterson to be named Washington Huskies new coach. Interesting, and smart move, if true! I wonder if Bozeman's Dissly still goes to Boise?
 
Wondering the same thing with Dissly because he said his main reason for going there is because Peterson told him he was there to stay

This will be interesting because Justin Wilcox is the Defensive Coordinator at Washington and he was on Coach Pete's staff in Boise. My understanding is there is a $1,000,000 buyout for Wilcox to go to USC.

Also Dissly was on Boise TV last night saying that he had asked Coach Pete about him leaving before he committed and Coach Pete indicated to him he was going nowhere. I am sure that was all before the change at Washington because I don't believe Coach Pete would have ever gone to USC.

It is funny for me to observe the attitude in Boise. It has become like Montana's attitude. As long as the team loses 1 or 2 games a year the Coach is a great coach (with the exception of Bobby Hauck. He never could coach in some people's eyes. What a joke!) However, when they have lost 4 the question looms "What's wrong with the coach?" Fans in Boise like in Montana are fickle. A coach doesn't forget how to coach overnight. I am sure the monster he helped develop in Boise is hard to feed.

Coach Pete is a great guy and although it is near impossible to be a Boise State fan it is very easy to be a Coach Pete fan. Good luck to him however this turns out.

I saw that interview last night, was just looking for it. Dissly really made a point of it during the interview.

Um, that's pretty much how every fan base with a successful team is...
 
Reports say Bryan Harsin of Arkansas State front runner for Boise State. Offensive Coordinator of Boise and Texas the previous 7 seasons before this year. This is his first year as head coach of Arkansas State. $1.75 million buyout however. Brent Pease HC Boise??

That would sure suck for Arkansas State it would be their 3 head coach in as many years.
