So if he is announced as the Wyoming coach tomorrow ... Who coaches NDSU in their next playoff game? And if they do, as previously expected, make it to the FCS championship game in January ... will he be coaching them then, or getting busy with recruiting, etc. at his new job?

This could get very interesting.

If he already accepted the job (hence why they'd be announcing him as coach), he wouldn't be able to coach NDSU anymore.

Bohl's done a pretty good job with NDSU transitioning from a D2 school to a perennial FCS favorite, I think he has a chance to turn Wyoming's fortunes around.

I highly doubt Baldwin is a serious candidate for the BSU job. Right now, I don't see Baldwin going anywhere else to coach next season.

I believe Bryan Harsin and Justin Wilcox are high on their list. I am pretty sure they hire someone that has experience as a head coach or coordinator at the FBS level. Do not think they dip to the FCS.

I would be very surprised if he is gone in the next week like you stated. There is not a place for him to go, not a fit, as of now. That is why I asked you to to expand on your statement.

I feel for the Bizon.... We (all FCS team fans with good HC) live with this possibility. You can't blame the coach for advancing his career and taking care of family and you're glad to see FBS teams are recognizing their excellence but it makes you wonder if the next time your team be as lucky with their hire. Not going to gloat, not going to celebrate cause one of these times it'll be EWU and Baldwin moving on and as happy as that will make the rest of the BSC is as devastated as we will be.

Probably pretty close given last coach was making 1.2 million

Bohl knew he could not get the Nebraska job direct from NDSU. Needed to be at head coach at an FBS program to get the real job he wants. Nebraska Job will be open before to long he could wait no longer, My take anyway

Surprised he would move up for a team like this and even more surprised he would do so while the Bizon are still in the playoffs. They are clearly the team to beat and I predict EWU and NDSU play for the title, however I still am holding out hope EWU chokes asap and now think it's a possibility that something like this will change the path of NDSU.

Maybe Bohl should have talked to Joe Glenn about what he is about to get into and do to his coaching career. May be seeing him somewhere like Northern Colorado or Idaho State in about 7 years.

Much better job than any in fcs....what do you think the paycheck will be.
