Montana might look at him in about 15 years.

I thought he would be in line for something better.gobison said:Money aside, is Wyo really a step up?? Just curious what Griz fans think.

It depends. If NDSU hires a coach like they had in Bob Babich who thinks since NDSU plays in a dome they need to recruit out of state fast kids then NDSU could be hurt. If they hire a coach like Bohl who realizes you need big strong midwestern tough to play smash mouth football, then NDSU will be ok.NLGrizFan said:My biggest wonder about all this is what happens to NDSU if its gutted. As it sounds its very likely to be. Are they gonna be as competitive as they have been as of late or is 2014 gonna be a repeat of 2009 for them?
My thoughts too. I was really surprised to see him leave NDSU for Wyoming.montana_jack said:gobison said:Money aside, is Wyo really a step up?? Just curious what Griz fans think.
Nope. Bohl doesn't know how good he has it at NDSU.
I read an article on Wyonation.com that someone posted about Bohl how he recruits a lot of kids out of Florida and holds his practices out in the elements to get them used to the cold. "If the kid cringes out in the cold, I cringe right back." LoL!tojo70 said:It depends. Methinks if you can recruit to Fargo, Laramie will be a breeze.first11 said:Laramie not an easy place to attract recruits and keep them..

$1.5-2 mil/yr and a jet + big pay raises for staff
Oooooooo a jet! I bet he doesn't have a clue how to fly the thing.

Wyoming is a lost cause. The fan base sucks, the area sucks, getting players there will be almost impossible. I doubt Wyoming ever does much. However he could make them eligible for the car quest southern west radio shack bowl.B_Kross said:Bohl's done a pretty good job with NDSU transitioning from a D2 school to a perennial FCS favorite, I think he has a chance to turn Wyoming's fortunes around.
