I promise I wanted nothing more than a Cat-Griz championship. Appreciate the kind words, and all those who wish to join us in Bozeman are welcome! It helps to find common enemies 😉 beer on us

Ditto. Anyone wearing griz gear will be invited to my tailgate for beer if they walk by at the game. As a thank you for the support. Fair warning. I can't rib you about cat/griz obviously so be prepared to be ribbed about the gris thing. 😉 but absolutely welcome.

I am seriously thinking of coming over.

Come on over, any noise we can get to help stop an all Dakota’s/ MVFC championship is helpful!!

Good luck to you next week against the rabbits

They way SDSU is playing right now it might
be a long game for the bobcats. In my opinion they are playing the best of the 4 remaining teams left.

I think a big key to the game is if msu can stop the running game of SDSU, the rabbits have a terrific duo at running back in Pierre strong and Isiah Davis, and forcing the quarterback to make plays to beat you.

Like I said, good luck and hope to see your team in Frisco.👍

Vigen played it perfectly holding Mellot until the end...there is much more to this kid...he has energized the team
and they could pull this off..even playing conservative in the second half they still pounded Sam Houston. Having
a home advantages next week could bring them a victory...well played coach!

Pierre Strong, the All American RB and future NFL player for SDSU, who was also leading the FCS in rushing, was in street clothes in the second half of their game against Villanova. I’m guessing won’t be playing next Saturday.

Vigen and staff have done a great job tailoring the offense to Mellott's strengths. Montana's liability was offense all season and their coaches could never figure it out. The "we are physically better than you and will keep shoving done your throat" approach was barely ever effective.

I think they said on the broadcast yesterday that he was being evaluated for a concussion, and since he never came back in, then that’s very bad news for the Jacks. Davis is a good running back and will do a nice job, but it helps to have both of them.

I’m more worried about SDSU having to play on the road for the third straight week. They’ve put in the miles going from Cali to Philly and now to Bozeman, and eventually it’s gonna wear on them. Who knows how much they’re gonna have left in the tank on Saturday. Not to mention that their last bye week came all the way back on September 18. We’ll see though.

The only thing Vigen did as a coach, IMO, was seriously underestimate what he had on the bench. He seemed just as surprised as the SHSU team and the game announcers. TD Tommy is going to be a pest for several years.

I mean, it took some serious balls to bench your transfer starter for a freshman two weeks before your first playoff game (just in case it’s not known, order of operations was Mckay benched, then Mckay transfer). I personally thought he was out of his mind at the time, but hell that’s why I’m a dude posting on the internet and he stands on the sidelines

I'd like to go ahead and thank the griz for whooping our ass so bad we finally got rid of our dead weight QB, that for some reason everyone loved when clearly he was a below average QB. Thanks Griz.

I know. That "physically better than you and we will keep shoving done your throat" approach never works for North Dakota State. Oh wait.......it does!

Even though the Bobcats are our #1 nemesis, I want those Montana kids to represent our state and the Big Sky Conference well.
Reluctantly, "Go Bobcats!"

Sometimes the humbling act of getting your ass handed to you is what's needed to reset and get on the right path. And the bracket is unfolding in their favor, usually necessary to go deep. Cats will be tough at home; a lot better than going to Philadelphia.

Boy are we happy to get SDSU At home and not travel to Fargo…however, would love to see ya in Frisco. We continually show up on defense week in and week out, but nobody wants to see it until last night. IMO these two semifinal matchups feature the true best teams remaining in the FCS. Hoping for some barn burners.

Great for NDSU. Did you think that the Griz were successful with that approach this season?

'Barely ever effective' was why we ended the season 10-3 despite the plethora of injuries to many of our Seniors.
I think our coaches figured it out more than you give them credit for

And - Go Scats Go - but only for 2 more games

That was an awesome playoff road win by the Bobcats against the undefeated defending national champions. The only thing I might critique are the off-white helmets with the stark white jerseys. Cream on white wasn’t a good look as they went into the end zone. Clean it up!

the helmets almost looked like they had grass stains all over them, definitely not runway worthy
