Bobcats worst in the FCS?

Sac St. lost to a Div 2 team.
Sac. St. beat MSU

Miss Valley State: Lost to the Griz by 60
Sac St. Lost by 61

Griz beat St.Francis by 10, MSU beat Bryant in Bozeman by 3 after Bryant turn it over 5 times. St.Francis beat Bryant by 35.

There is an argument to be made that Montana State are the worst team in the FCS.

Cat fans love to grouse about the number of threads about their team on eGriz. Their team's relevance is rapidly approaching zero and so will the threads. They'll have won the Preseason NC, won the state in recruiting, and have no mention on eGriz. That very well may be as good as it can get in Bozoville!

They ain't fu*kin' good, that is a cold hard fact. Not sure which is harder to kick; prostitutes with blow, or watching the bobcats this season. I feel dirty, yet incredibly satisfied doing both..

State College is a bottom feeder football program with little talent. They may not be the worst in FCS, but certainly among the worst.
They do have a new coach who could probably do well at another school which is unfortunate for him.

The bobcats are what they are, at best a one and done playoff team, at worst about what we're seeing now. It's finally starting to sink in with their fanbase, which is depressing because it's no longer fun to talk football with them. It's like trying to cheer someone up who has a terminal illness.

The banter with the bobcats was more fun when they had hopes and dreams. EWU is starting to feel like more of a true rivalry to me as much as it sucks to say it.

Lucky for Eastern they had an extra week to prepare for the Cats.
Two things come to mind that can keep us in this one. 1. We absolutely need to control the football and pound it out ("Choate Ball"). Every click Eastern doesn't have the ball is another click they don't score. Don't even talk about getting into a shoot out, even if we think we can. 2. I think it's clear after opponents got ahold of film and took our defense apart the wheels came off. Coach G needs to come up with plans B and C.
Incidentally....In the BSC Eastern Washington is now what the griz used to be.

Moved over to Eastern Eashington and North Idaho area 5 years ago for a job. My neighbors are die hard EWU fans and alright. Most I have met seem to love to talk smack and flap their gums in recent years. Really hope that the Griz maul em this year to shut them up. Finally beat them on the red turf. Could care less about the cats but EWU I despise :evil: . Much bigger rivalry for this fan.

It's a strange fan base. I asked my cat friends what's wrong, and they say the coaching is fine, but they don't have any player talent. But when I ask, then, why they've claimed to have had better recruiting classes than a the GRIZ the past number of years they have no answer.

The truth they don't want to face is that their classes really haven't been good, their coaching grade is -- at best -- incomplete, and they are one of the worst scholarship teams in the country.

They are not, indeed! They are ranked 187th out of 254 in Sagarin rankings! Once they finish the season 2-9, THEN they will be the worst team in the FCS! The bottom line is, the Bobcats suck! And isn't that what it's really all about!
