Bobcats No more?

With Bleskin racking up a whole 26 points against a DII team, losing to SFA cuz he couldnt keep up... the cats are done for a long time. But who knows, maybe they'll pick up some big drop down
Will Ash once again take the risky route and continue to recruit kids with speed and questionable character issues? :o

Sounds about Par. Guess we'll see soon enough. I don't think hes gonna rely on Bleskin. I'm sure he's a nice guy and all but I can't imagine that happening. But this is the cats we're talking about

Go cats

On Bobcat Nation they were talking about this on their coaches show. The coaches said they will have more speed next year and that Roderick will be competing for the QB slot left open by McGhee. They are also expecting Brekke to share the load at HB as well. It should be interesting as their OC said they are headed to a more hurry-up spread (said they didn't have the personnel this year). Interesting...

The Cats will have some big shoes to fill with McGhee, Kirk, Bleskin, and Daly (if he is a Sr?) but they have some of the key ingredients in place to remain contenders with their remodeled stadium, fan base (those that are not jumping ship lol), coaching staff (say what you will but they have done a decent job) and recruiting along with some solid players returning.

Not saying they are the best by any means but they will win some ballgames and someday maybe return to the playoffs. I find it ironic that their seniors got to experience what Chase Reynolds and other Griz had to in losing their final game at home against their rivals and missing the playoffs as a result. Payback can be a bitch, just saying.

Spare a thought for the Cats, for a couple of years there they were one of the top two teams in Montana. Now with the senior talent that they have lost they will slip back to their more familiar position behind The Griz, Carroll College, Rocky and maybe Helena High.

Helena High will never be relevant under the helm of former griz QB Arnston.

Look who's back! Done licking your wounds?

Say, how's that power shift coming along? You know, the one you spent all off season talking about?

Ash is a good coach, he has proven that. They also have a good supporting staff and have been able to recruit well. They will be a challenge for as long as Ash is there.

Maybe the Griz fans can chime in on this. After the EWU/MSU game in Cheney, I was talking with some CAT fans at a local pub, and they told me WR#11 I believe Roderick(sp) will be competing for QB next year at MSU, they said he's probably better than younger Bleskin. What do the Montana fans know about him, and is he the son of RB Roderick who played for MSU in my Era from 79-83??

Good point. One could make a legitimate argument that the cats aren't even the best team in Bozeman.

I nominate this for a BRINTY!
