I have attempted to discuss this serious issue as it pertains to UM, our experiences and our protocols for dealing with the problem, as well as my own experiences with students and student athletes and the important relationships with staff and coaches. However, Peyton keeps deleting them, apparently because he does not believe it is a serious issue, and so "that's that."Buttegrizzle said:This is hard to digest. Every athletic department should allow for one designated councilor position. Some adult on staff that kids can come to for advice, perspective or guidance. The news last night said about 30 MSU students are getting or have got counciling for suicidal thoughts this year. I'm sure it's proportional at other schools.
