You keep Prukop from beating you with his running ability....then you beat the Cats...unless of course you want to gift them 3+ turnovers...

Secondly, even though we handled EWU Eastern's quarterbacks overthrew a few wide open long balls. I will rest easier when it is over if we win. AND if I see one more completed flea-flicker or halfback pass I think I'll puke. We should be able to stop that this late into the season after seeing it so many times.
Spy Gamboa on Prukop all day...game over!

Bring a trash bag...cats have executed these plays all season. Important to stop them to keep the crowd out of the game. Successful execution of trick plays brings fans to frenzy. Gotta play smart.

Our OL does't get a good push, we rely too much on Prukop making plays with his feet, which he does too much in my opinion. He has a propensity to take off too soon, even though he still has a good pocket sometimes.
Newell and Prukop are a good combination but we really miss Shawn Johsnon IMO. Newell will never bust a long TD run, and Brekke doesn't get as many carries as he should. Newell just isn't a good fit for this offense, yet he has nearly 3 times as many carries as Brekke (doesn't help Brekke was injured for 2 games).
Our WRs have a hard time getting seperation, and when they do Prukop overthrows wide open guys. Every single game he's overthrown someone wide open. He didn't do that last year, not sure why it's been a problem.
Our offense is still a really good offense don't get me wrong, but they aren't a top 10 offense like we were hoping they'd be.
Defense... well they have shown flashes but for stretches revert back into the I forgot how to play defense mode. We've shuffled some guys around and I think the group out there now is making progress, we played really well against ISU, but even then in the 3rd quarter we couldn't tackle a thing. Who knows which defense shows up.
