He reminds me a lot of the app state guy Edwards ? That was QB when they won the national title two years in a row and beat Michigan. But Prukop looks faster

Disagree ...yes, Mcghee set records...but Prukop will destroy those records. He is is a better athlete and a better passer. All around the better player. Enjoy the next three years

Not only that, he's a better decision maker than McGhee was IMO.

I'll agree he looks great but it might be a little soon to start saying shit like "he's going to shatter McGhee's records" and "Vernon who?"...

I agree with you, too early, and he is impressive. What he is done this year is what I was expecting out of McGhee that last three years.

JJ has taken more hard abuse this season than his previous collegiate years combined. He's getting pounded out there.

Unfortunately, JJ is our offense this year. The whole thing.

Prukop is a special talent, no doubt. By all appearances a fine young man, exceptional athlete, and a good sport representative who speaks well. The Cats have a young, exciting QB who will take them far and as a person is someone to be very proud of as a school representative.

It is interesting how similar these two are in those respects.

BUT ... switch the offsenses (sic) , and I think the appearances between JJ and Prukop would switch as well.

I think the Griz will kick Prukop's butt. 2 of our backers are faster, and certainly 1 is a heck of alot faster, than him, and I predict that they will mow him down. I would take JJ in a heartbeat over the Prukop. Beginners's luck, I'm thinking and hoping.

I don't know if they said any of that on BN, but I did see a comment a few days ago that said "The MSU offense would make North Dakota State look like a community college."

That said, I'll say it again, Dak is the real deal, Cats fans were right about him. He's a special talent.

Okay, let's bet $100, or $10, about him being a special talent.

So I guess you could say you're changing your tune from "Henderson has more talent than ANY Bobcat offensive player....PERIOD!!! Christ.....I hope you evaluate women better than you report on football talent!!!

NOPE TETONTROLLER, I have praised Prukop since the beginning of the fall camp. I can say he is a special talent without comparing him to an effin Griz player who doesn't even play the same position. LMAO. See, that's the difference between me and MOST dudes who are MSU fans who post here, I can dislike the Bobcats and be OBJECTIVE! THIS RIVALRY, and particularly, Montana State doesn't consume me. IT just doesn't. On the other hand, you ONLY POST HERE to spew your hatred of all things Griz. You have ZERO OBJECTIVITY when it comes to the UM. It's only my opinion, but to me, not being able to be even 1 percent objective is not what the Griz-Cat rivalry is about, others do, and that's fine, that's their life, it's not mine.

FTR I think Ellis Henderson is more physically talented (before his stomach virus) than any offensive player MSU has on offense. I think Zack Wagenmann is a better defensive football player than anyone MSU has and that one isn't close. AND that opinion has nothing to do with what I see from Dak. Like I said, it doesn't have to be one or the other for me in this rivalry. I don't need to, nor do I EVER RIP on Bobcat players in order to support my stances on how I feel about Griz players.

This is 100% accurate. Anyone who disagrees has blue and pee gold glasses with a magnification of about 10000.5

Ahhh....nice backpedal Havfan.....now he's more " physically talented" than any Cat offensive player...you must think Prukop is just there for his intellect  Oh....and FTR I think JJ is/was a great QB for a pflu run offense with a better OL he could have padded his stats but there were a lot of BSC QB's like Lobato or Saffron that could have done the same thing. Wagemann...hell I'll concede that argument....he's good :D but Henderson is only about the 3rd best receiver in the Big Sky behind Kupp and the dude from Sac St.

And I agree with HavGriz. Henderson has shown that he is incredibly talented in many games. Prukop has had only a few games. Wagenmann is way more talented than any Cats and is going to the NFl. And, you, tetontroller (I like that name), are nothing more than a troll.

Jealousy or Group Think? I would say Group Think, with the lack of your ability to listen to other view points, lack of individual thoughts, and significantly over-rating the abilities of the Griz and under-rating the abilities of other teams. You do this all to conform to the group, Egriz. My analogy is, I think of you as a gay man who is afraid to come out of the closet. You want to but, you feel you will outed by the group.

Gotta say, I respect Robbie. With the beating he's taken in no less than two threads, he must have the Fight Doctor, Ferdie Pacheco, in his corner taping up the cuts and sending him back out there. Concussion be dammed! :thumb:

Beating? Haven't been touched. You have been an easy game.

Speaking of fighting. I was the one guy, wearing a Sioux hat at the Griz game, not happy, calling 4 guys outside, yes my own fans. You see the 4 idiots cheered when JJ was hurt, I didnt find out until later that my wife told two of them it wasn't nice, and they told her to leave as she had Griz clothes on. So when a Sioux got hurt, and they didn't cheer I lit them up, pointing at my hat telling, them how unimpressed I was as a Sioux. As we yelled back and forth I called them out, one at a time or all at once. Two of them sat down the other two left not to return, not wanting to go outside. Yep, ready to walk out with all 4. I don't like when people disrespect players, They are playing a game for our enjoyment. I received a lot of thank yous from people on both sides of the aisles. That is the kind of person I am. Yes I am THAT guy.

With the way you act I would say you would have been one of the other 4, and would be proud to be one of them.

I don't get this Group Think of the Griz, the entitlement. Some of you can not have a conversation. It is sad. But I am not leaving. You can think you punched me, you beat me, you won. Whatever trips your trigger. But I will tell you this, if I make it to the Griz/Cat Game or Bison/Griz game i will find you, and when I do the first beer will be on me, because I am THAT guy.

Dakota Prukop has been very, and I mean very good at times this season. Very impressive (at times). He's a major player. However let's look at the facts, he has looked impressive against very, and I mean very weak defenses so far. Teams that are at the bottom of the BSC conference, D-2 Black Hills State, Sacramento State, and UC Davis. North Dakota is also on the bottom half of the 13 team BSC conference, but has a good defense. Ewu is at the top of the conference, but doesn't have a stout defense. Central Arkansas is doing good conference wise, but they also padded their conference win loss column with playing power house Houston Baptist (who? haha) , which they pummeled 70-0. Prukop and state haven't "put it on" a tough D yet. Not to say that he can't, he just hasn't. (reluctantly admitting not yet)

In fact Prukop wasn't so hot in his game against Arkansas State (where the offense on it's own ONLY managed to earn 3 pts--besides a TD that the drive STARTED on the oppennt 5 yard line!). And he only lead an offense to 21 points against North Dakota. Hardly Godlilke, aganst two good defenses. The only good defense state will fun into the rest of the regular season is Montana. Can't wait for that matchup! It will be interesting to see state in the playoffs against a good defensive team as well.

But against low level defenses Prukop has been Godlike. Incredible, really. He was at first probably going to win the BSC "Newcomer of the year", but he's now in serious contention for bigger and better BSC "Offensive Player of the year" and national as well. It will be interesting to see how it pans out.

Those 70 point offensive outbursts will not be the norm going forward, as even coach Ash admitted after the UC Davis game.

And to the comment someone made on here about Dakota Prukop being better than Vernon Adams, the ROOTSPORTS game announcer drew the comparison on air this past weekend between the two current QBs and current WRs, he gave the nod to Vernon Adams and also the nod to the EWU WRs. Let's remember Vernon Adams has looked amazing versus Pac 12 Oregon State and Pac 12 Washington, while Dakota Prukop has looked great against...case closed.

Does anyone have a Robbie4 To English Translation book? I'm fluent in a number of languages, but I couldn't get through the second sentence there.

Thanks in advance for your help (although, as with all of his posts, I suspect that even after translation it'll be complete gibberish).

The good thing is his posts are usually brief.

Is pickings. Your Reverse Trolling, is proven by your lack of intelligence. Time for you to step away from Group Think.

How happy is PlayerRep right now given Rob4's arrival? A new villain and all....I have to admit I actually like both of them at times. PlayerRep because he is steady...slow, but steady. Rob4 is a wrestler, and he posts as such; he just enjoys mixing it up. Mostly though, just shaking my head while reading egriz.

The kid is the best looking Sophomore I've ever seen in the Big Sky and that includes Super Dave. Big, fast, strong, smart, great touch and deep ball. Married up well to this offense and shows great dicipline in running the team and running with the ball. I wouldn't underestimate him under any circumstances. VA a great talent but this kid at another level IMHO.

Here's what Vernon did his sophomore year:

15 Games Played. 4,994 yards and 55 TD (15 INT) on 65.6 completion %. He also rushed for 605 and 4 tugs. He was runner up for Payton Award. Was league MVP and countless other awards and led his team to the FCS semifinals. All in his first year as a starter.

I don't know where to find DD's numbers, but I don't think they were that good his sophomore year.

Prove me wrong egriz.
The problem with comparing quarterback stats now, with those pre 2002, is the earlier group don't include playoffs.
