Bobcat Nation Poll

There is a voting poll on BN right now which asks this:

Would you rather beat the Griz and miss the playoffs?
Would you rather make the playoffs but lose to the Griz?

85 posters have voted (let's face it that is every single poster on BN) and the results are puke-worthy. The majority (55%) would rather beat the Griz even if it meant missing the playoffs. They wonder why they get teased about their Griz infatuation and little brother syndrome, but something like this only adds to it. Keep in mind, this is not referring to this year or the situation they are in where they are out of the playoffs regardless. And what's even more sad is the posters there are probably the bigger, more passionate Cats fans and not your lukewarm or middle of the road fans. Is it just me or is that plain sad.

Some one posted on a different thread that they could feel another streak coming. After reading some of the bs over there heads are going to explode when the next streak rolls along!

To be fair, I think the Pol was misleading... I think a lot of people take it as since we are already out if the playoffs we might as well beat the Griz... If not they are idiots...kind of a strange poll

I don't know. It wasn't worded that way at all and plenty of folks even pointed that out. Even when called on it, I saw some of the posters said they would take a 1-10 season with a win over the Griz. That is insane.

If the Cats can knock off the Griz this Saturday, it would hands down be THE victory of the year for them.

If the Griz beat the Cats, it would be our what...3rd best win of the season? Behind NDSU & EWU?

What say you?

I would say 5th best win...NDSU, NAU, EWU, UND

I 100% agree. Hooked, good find because it does show the "little picture" mentality. No question I would take the playoffs.

Probably would be considered our 4th best quality win behind:
NDSU
EWU
NAU

Isn't the second option "make playoffs and lose to the Griz"?

In fairness 90% of the votes for option 1 are Ron Ash and aliases, he knows that's the only thing that will save him the next two years.

The real Cat fans are hoping they lose badly so he gets railed out of town.

Railed out of town? Probably spot on. Those sick fucks probably want him to get railed in Miles City or Topeka or something. I'll never understand that Bobcat tradition after a loss.
