Bobcat kicker in trouble

Cda there are very few players that have children. I don't know of any other cases of domestic assault in Msu athletics ever. Using the word culture is more than a big stretch. Also, it was handled properly by the coach with an immediate indefinite suspension.
No brainer for the coach since the kid's service was in doubt due to injury. He was likely going to redshirt which gave the coach an easy decision.

Word is he was way ahead of schedule and the Doctor was ready to clear him soon. He would have been back in Sept. MSU has been very consistent in implementing immeadiate suspensions.

Don't strain something reaching to kiss your coach's ass, there, 33. The dude HIT his girlfriend. Do you really believe he wouldn't have been suspended at any program in the nation? It's not as if msu took the high road here. Hell, the GRIZ immediately suspended players for walking around a construction site.

Had they picked up a hammer and nails and actually done some work.....then it would've been a different story.

BOZEMAN (AP) — Montana State running back Anthony Knight has been dismissed from the team for violating the school's student-athlete code of conduct.

The decision was handed down by head coach Rob Ash about 15 hours after Knight was arrested for partner or family member assault and theft following an early morning domestic dispute with a woman at a Belgrade apartment.

Well, there's always Last Chance U! Wait, they don't use a kicker. Score 70 a game and a there is no need.

Well, you hate to see these things. Often two sides to the story, and often enough just one side, the opposite of that in the paper. He's a nice kid. Fathered a little boy that he loves dearly, and the girlfriend decides to break up with him.

I chaired a hearing panel on a coach suspension for something similar last month. One of the other panel members was in charge of domestic violence investigations in the Minneapolis PD. After we got done taking testimony, we met by telephone conference to discuss the decision. We agreed the guy had been set-up and screwed by his "ex." It was obvious she was creating a "paper" trail for legal purposes, and goading and setting her "ex" up at every turn. The detective recalled similar events in her career. Even for me, I was shocked at some of the manipulations of people and events in order to "get" vindictive and legal advantages in custody disputes; literally picking fights meaning for them to be violent. Yes, "there's no excuse" is the old refrain, but custody brings out the worst emotions in everyone, and even in the best people, perhaps because they take their kids even more seriously. Not to say that is the case here. Even nice kids can have temper problems, and if so, they need to fix it.

Coach did the right thing. Have to let the legal system run its course.

.

I'm gonna disagree with most everything you said above besides there are two sides to a story.

Oh, I understand, Jon, there are still people out there that believed the NYT was correct, and the Duke LaCrosse boys were guilty, and that Rolling Stone is a fine newspaper that only reports the truth about male athletes. By the way, how much did you make off your book?

Huh? I know Luke and his ex personally. I'm not going to get into specifics on here but trust me, from my first hand knowledge, you are misinformed.

He's not a nice kid? He doesn't love his son dearly? His girlfriend didn't break up with him, but she is still his "ex"? Yeah, I'd say the facts are upside down, or its personal for you.
