Bobcat game fans

i can't believe nobody has brought up pawing in the litterbox and covering up a very stinky crap in more explicit terms. they are creatively saying "crap, i can't believe we got a first down". that is what they were doing. i'm sure of it.

For a bunch of people who don't care about MSU, we sure do talk about them a lot on here.

90% of the jackwads on kitty nation have something Griz related in their signatures, or even screen names. Talk about obsessed.

Unrelated, and off topic, but every time an opposing team has a 3rd down at Kidd Brewer, they ring a very loud ass bell!

That pissed the Grizo off...on more than a few occasions!!

So I was forced to go to a Bobcat game this past weekend. One thing I noticed is something the fans would do everytime they got a first down. The Announcer would say first down and the fans would say Bobcats. Then they would flush the toilet and the fans would do an action like they were clawing the air infront of their faces. OMG it was so funny really tough looking. WTF how does this even start.

Please tell me you're not serious about the clawing the air thing...that's gayer than man on man. :?
In my four years there as a student I never saw that nor have I seen it since. If I do see it believe me, major bitch slapping will be in order. Freaking LAME!!!

I was sitting near the new section in south and I believe the lower seats that are seperated by the walkway are for the students. And no shit every time they got a first down the announcer would say first down the crowd would yell bobcats and the students and other people would pretend like they were in a cat fight or clawing a tree or something. It was hilarious. Like i said the cat grads I was with had no idea where it came from and actually seemed pretty ashamed and made us leave at half time when I started pawing at them everytime they got a first down.

Its been going on for a few years now. Mostly the student section just being dumb. The cat growl is pretty pathetic in my opinion. And then the students doing the pawing at the air just makes it that much worse. SO INTIMIDATING!

I thought that alone was going to get me in a fight. I laughed at loud at them everytime and playfully pawed in a more feminine manner but they got the point. the 12 bobcat alum I was with were embarrassed of the new tradition. hahahaha they are just lucky i forgot my bottle of captain in the car.

Almost as intimidating as a fat dude doing the truffle shuffle to a 1994 Swedish Euro-techno-pop-country-dance song. :thumb:

Please tell me this tradition was retired.

Last year during the cat/griz game, i was near an ex-MSU O-linemen who was also very embarrassed each time they did the air-clawing thing. If you havn't heard the "cat growl" or seen the clawing, and you have kids, picture Diego playing with baby jaguar, only gayer. Mreow, Mreow!

would all the CAT fans just quiet having fun, and please learn what it is you can and cant do.

If not.... well just dont please, its very upsetting, not cool, and ... well not what should go on, I know cuz I no :thumb:

It is kinda funny, but if the students have fun with it and gets them involved I say let them scratch away.

I have to say, what item goes on at Bozo that bothers me the most is the very extended PA call of:

Fiiiiiiiiiirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrssssssssssssssssssssssst Dooowwwwn ( Bobcats by the crowd)

I get calling it out, just the model airplane engine sound makes me want to stick icepicks in my ears. But, it the kitties can take it, and don't mind the crappy sound of it, then more power to them.
