Anybody glorifying Hauck and attacking Colter are delusional. Hauck wants softball bs or else he goes offensive. Those who ask for “hard hitting” interviews don’t know the reality. Hauck answers what he wants and insults anything he doesn’t like. Ain’t gonna change anytime soon

Personally, I wished Hauck had just simply said that we would see multiple players getting snaps because they hadn't settled on a starter or perhaps on how they were going to handle the position, rather than making sure he wove in a shot at the media because "they" wouldnt get what they wanted.
The words came out - multiple players would get snaps until someone earned the spot. They needed to see them against something besides their teammates to understand who might be the best choice for now. After the trials and tribulations of last season, who wouldn't absolutely love that? Seriously. It's a good news story for anyone paying attention and didn't warrant or need the "you guys" part. Absolutely no need to deviate from the vanilla, non-committal coach-speak you get 95% of the time so he could "them" in their place. Week one, oh joy...
