Let's face it, this year was an incredible bust. We had extremely high hopes that Bobby would come back & produce a playoff team that would get into the playoffs & maybe lose in the 2nd or 3rd game after hosting a first round game, blowing out that opponent, and getting beat before we had to face NDSU in the final. Instead Bobby had to play his players from the get go, namely & most importantly Sneed & Eastwood, & basically run off a QB that had better numbers than Super Dave in his freshman year, Gresch Jensen. It is very unfortunate that Jeremy Calhoun had the 'incident' downtown & thus had to be suspended for the 1st 2 games, as he is a much tougher & more productive running back Eastwood, who may I remind you is a redshirt freshman. Why didn't Bobby give Calhoun a start until today? He kicked ass when he was in, & makes better moves than Eastwood has in his inside runs. Sneed is Bobby's old recruit from UNLV & he's definitely a bust as a QB. He throws passes directly into defender's hands. He needs so to go. Bobby needs to transfer him to running back, defensive back or wherever so he doesn't continue to lose games for us. When he's on, he's good, but too often he's not & fumbles or throws interceptions or keeps the ball for a loss when he should've handed off for a bigger gain. Bobby needs to swallow his ego & realize that Stitt recruited some talent, how about Dante Olson for an example? I think Bobby should've swallowed his pride & gave Stitt more credit for his recruits & stuck with Jensen & Calhoun. We can blame a lot of this on the young team, but Bobby's ego got in the way of this season & here we are at 4-4.
