Bobby's done

Yes, it is. Next year in Bozeman will be ugly, and that will be the ending of a near-500 season. Bobby is going to end the way Stitt did.
Honest question. Do you really think they would ever fire Hauck? I just don't. I think the guy would literally have to have three losing seasons in a row for it even to be a discussion within the decision makers.

Nope. The real decision makers on this would be the supporters who consistently put up the big bucks. If they look at what you post, they would break out laughing.
Everyone here is breaking out laughing at you for trying to use Hauck being .500 in cherry picked years or under .500 overall against the DSU schools to justify Vigen beating Hauck 3 games in a row with 2-3 being boatraces. 6/8 games now lost to the Cats for the Griz.

Incoming claim from Hoops that "real" Montana fans care more about beating the MVFC teams then MSU in 3...2...1...

As if fans are not able to care about beating everyone with an extra emphasis on MSU? Why does wanting to beat MSU mean we can’t want to beat the MVFC and everyone else too?

I wouldn't mind it so much if he wasn't using it as a clear form of deflection, It's cool that we can do well against another top conference but it doesn't change our problems. End of the day they are not a conference opponent we have to play every year, let alone one that we cannot beat. That is going to affect us more in the long run when it comes to the postseason or success in the Big Sky overall than potential OOC opponents.

Because unfortunately 5280 sports just can't work that way. I was told for about two straight decades that as a Cat fan I didn't care about winning any game except for one a year against the griz. It didn't make sense. and wasn't really how I felt; but I was told with certainty that that was just the way it is. So I'm sorry to inform you, but at this point it's an undisputed fact that the only win you care about getting all season long is that win against the Bobcats.

I do care more about beating the Bobcats for in state recruiting and reputation but I do still care about winning every game.

I don't know man. While that seems like a VERY reasonable take; and one I agreed with myself, it's just not the way it works. I have first hand experience in this so you're just going to have to trust me. The tide can change again at some point, but the rules of egriz state that in the immediate future you care about winning one game, and one game ONLY.

That's the essence of it in a watered-down big sky. Griz have a harder schedule in league next year than the last 2 years but still, it's hard to imagine them being much worse than 6-1 in league going into Bozeman. Maybe lose to Oregon state. Lose the game in Bozeman and you're 9-3. In the old big sky, even of 10 years ago, that's a nice season. Is that good enough now? A 9-3, 6-2 season where you Maybe lose to Davis, lose to the Cats, and beat everyone else? It looks good when you type it out but if that's the ceiling, is that good enough to just keep on going with the status quo? I honestly don't know the answer and am curious what folks think. People like Schmidt obviously say no.

I agree you should try and care about winning every single game, I personally just see the poblems that are preventing us from getting to the next level (which does include the DSUs) and I want to solve it. Doesn't mean i'm not going to not acknowledge or completely ignore the good things we've accomplished, use that as a foundation and go from there.

Well, the rules of eGriz also state, and I quote, "Bobcats suck".

Checkmate. QED. Better luck next time, pal.

It sounds like some fans think it should be Bison and Bunnies suck and we don’t care about the Bobcats. Even though almost everyone in Montana including high school players are comparing us to the Bobcats and not to other programs the same way.

I know more than two, but I’m only friends with two. You’ll be happy to know your name came up while we were at dinner. One of them called you “an insufferable blow hard” and the other called you an “attention whore”. They both were insistent that you only contribute a “meager amount” of financial support to the football program but work overtime to try to get people to believe you actually do more. Feel free to call BS on that but you know that it’s true.

He's a prick to people who question him. That will be why he is non-renewed. Seth is not going let him cost them students. Him being seen on national TV telling an official to F-off will be why.

lets start suing people who comment on a football forum. maybe egriz days are as numbered as bobby's.
If you sue me be assured I'll hire hoops and the counter suit will be extreme.
This would honestly be the perfect way for egriz to end. A massive lawsuit involving posters and Hoops ending his legal career in defense of Egriz.

Scorsese Couldn’t write a better ending to the cinematic drama that is EGriz
