You should never be band for anything, let alone that. The mods have lost it, or at least some of them. They don’t moderate what they should, and then they do something stupid like that to you. Little men thinking they are important by being a mod. They goof up the board by not moderating what they should and then hammering you.
I texted with Bobby tonight. Says everyone is feeling good. On the recruiting road. More to come.

I called the dude a ‘moron’ after he sad Pease was an incompetent coach and his play-calling cost UM the NC. I still believe his post was objectively moronic and raise the truth as an affirmative defense.
goatcreekgriz said:It’s fair to say I was surprised by the ban, which is the only time it has happened to me, but I was mostly just amused. I was in San Francisco preparing for oral argument on January 9, so it gave me an excuse to stay off eGriz and focus on work. My client won, per an opinion filed yesterday, so maybe I should thank that mod.
Great news that everyone is fired up for next year. So am I. It would be great if Pease sticks around for a while.

Here's the one that I thought was really out of character, as I've always thought Bobby was one of the better clock managers in terms of timeout usage. There's 1:27 left in the first half after a second down run is stopped for 1 yard, and SDSU is faced with a 3rd and 17 from their 24 yard line. Bobby chose not to take a timeout. After a 13 yard rush on third down (our D was playing soft), the timeout is called with 45 seconds left. After the punt is dead at the 9 yard line, we only have 35 seconds to work with. SDSU goes into prevent, and we at least got a decent Hail Mary attempt.
The reasoning had to be that Bobby didn't want to risk SDSU converting the 3rd and 17 and then scoring to close the half. It makes a bit of sense since the Griz were receiving the second half kickoff. But I counter that with the thought that you need to squeeze as many possessions as you can if you want to pull the upset. Just a bit of playing scared there in my opinion.

Anybody who watched the game knew the outcome was never in doubt after sdsu kicked their field goal to go up three scores in the 3rd qt. considering how anemic the Montana offense was that day.
I'll defer to you on this question. As a bub, you're farrrrr more experienced in losing than anyone on this board.

I sided with Bobby at the time and still do.

Fair enough. I was and still am about 80/20 on the side of taking the timeout.

Way to create a diversion from the obvious.

You lost because that formula obviously doesn't work.
You lost because you don't have a quarterback that can put a team on his back and win games like Grownowski. That seems to be a reoccurring thing with your coach.
My guess is that why your OC is leaving. When the OC leaves the rest of your skill players are gone. He was the only thing holding this team together.

What's really funny is that years ago I utilized the feature to hide tag lines, and I honestly have no idea what mine even says.
