Ok so now he needs “another year or two” to build the OL???!!! If it takes you 6 or 7 years to get up to speed, then your recruiting sucks. No coach in America gets that’s long of a leash. That is patently ridiculous. Time to start accepting the reality of Robert Hauck 2.0

He’s on the 9 year plan.

15 year. He got a better rate.

I noticed that the coaches son was out of position to make a play that he should have been able to make on both the long TD run and the long TD pass. Does that mean he will be benched for this next game with Cow Poly Slow?

Asking for a friend in south central California. :ugeek:

Fouch and Ford are the ones who got torched on the long TD pass
Just Ford this time. Fouch's man was the guy in the flat.

All I can say is QB club should be ugly this Monday. I’m going to pop off and I assume none of my questions will be asked.

No online questions were even recognized. Nice try though Badlands.

Bobby is a coward. What a great example he is to his team. The message is take no accountability for your mistakes. Grow the f#ck up. Dealing with the press and boosters is part of the job.

Yes, but who was the safety that should have been backing them up and tried desperately, too late, to catch up?

He was too late because it wasn't his responsibility. Think you should take another look.

UM was in man coverage. Ford released up to help on a shorter pass, and let his man went long for a TD. No safety responsibility or backup in that D. Safety was responsible for someone else.

You’re an idiot. He doesn’t get to decide what online questions get chosen. He did take accountability today and said they performed horribly and it’s all on him.

Bobby's been doing the same chicken sh!t song and dance with the press for years. That's clown status.

I'd like to hear your questions for Bobby, wish I could be there. Maybe if 3 or 4 of you ask the same questions back to back he'll stop snarling and answer one of you. Or he'll get his knickers in a twist and blow up. The flip side is as bad as things are the Griz have played close on the score board. 3 wins should make you all delusional again (remember the posts questioning why the Griz weren't ranked #1 ahead of NDSU?) The reality is he needs another year or two to build depth, especially on the O line. This and a commitment to run the ball.

Choate took a small team to Missoula and beat the Griz in his first year. Good coaching. His teams got better year 2 and 3 & his staff recruited the players they wanted. Culture was built. Year 4 was awesome. Year 5 (6) Vigen walked into the gold mine. This is year 6. But you be the prototype Egriz brainiac. Did you ever play the game? It looks like Bobby's more focused on the D. D wins championships, but relentless O lines can take you just as far. If Bobby leaves, the Griz are another 4 years at least behind the best teams in the conference.

Yes, public relations absolutely matter. Even more so in the social media age. You want to be an outright dick, refuse to answer questions, and treat the press with disdain? Well then you better win like Saban, which Bobby clearly does not.

Dealing with the press is part of the job. It's what he signed up for. Bobby simply can't take any push back without acting like a petulant child.

Fouch was the safety on that play and he bit down hard

These press conferences don’t get nearly as many views as you think they do. They don’t matter, at all.

Yeah you're right- cultivating a terrible relationship with the press doesn't matter at all. It only shows what kind of person you are. And it's indicative of how Bobby handles pretty much everything - ie the #37 debacle, the Zach Graves situation, etc. All unforced errors. 95% of HC's seem to be able to manage the press just fine -its part of the job.

Why don't you ask Jace Lewis his opinion on Bobby?

You're wrong. I'm a HUGE FAN of losing big games against ranked opponents, never winning conference championships, failing to develop QBs or competent offensive lines all while acting like an entitled dick. In fact, give me more mediocrity! Tastes great!

What did he say? Are you going to talk about your personal conversation with Jace Lewis? Or are you starting a rumor on the internet that Jace Lewis hates Bobby Hauck?
