Bobby at the Basketball game last night

I hope the Bobby rah rah turns out well for him and our football program. Many people have set the bar really high, its going to be very hard for him to meet expectations. Are boosters willing to give him 4 or 5 years to get us back to power?

Don’t think it will take four or five years, it didn’t take that long on his first stint, and I haven’t hear him say that I need to get my guys in place, believe he will work with what he is has in place and be successful as most think.

BH is not coming into a successful program like he did the first time. He has a lot of work to do, and I support him. But, I'm not expecting too much next season, maybe even matching last season's record. We all need to sit back & let him know we support him, whatever the 2018 record is. He didn't have that at UNLV.

Do you think Bobby’s inheriting a better or worse team than Stitt did?

Stitt had three years to built the team that Hauck inherited, athletes have not been the downfall of Griz dominance, it was the HC decision to rid himself of TG and replacing with JS.

And in my opinion a high school offense.

With that said, let’s see what Hauck can do with the athletes he inherited, I believe he will even be able to impress you.

All said and done the athletes that remain will do better under Hauck.

Just my opinion.

Pretty much on center, not to mention the change we will see in special teams.

Bobby needs to do the following
Year1- FTC
Year2- FTC and make the playoffs
Year 3 FTC and win more than one home playoff game

Should be doable. Especially since he will have first class ST play. Something that Stitt was still learning about in year 3.

Given we fired a coach for not making the playoffs, it might be fair to expect just a bit more of Bobby than just beating the cats his first season.

Just a question. If you were a Bobcat fan (I know, you'd kill yourself first), but seriously, how confident would you be about beating the Griz for at least one more year? I hope they're delusional, but objectively, they have to think their program is ahead of the Griz in the race back to the top, and I don't think aren't crazy to think so. Just wrong,I hope.

FYI, Bobby isn't going to be judged by what happens in 2018, he will be judged by what happens over the next 3 seasons. And for everyone predicting 9-2 or better, I know you all believe that Bobby is the messiah, but this team has quite a few shortcomings that will make it very difficult to be a playoff team in 18.

All true & one more thing. Bobby won’t be standing up in front of anyone in 2018 with ten minutes of “woulda, shoulda, coulda” and we’d have won. They’ll play hard, smart & disciplined. All I could ask for regardless of the lack of experience or depth.

The coach was fired for not making the playoffs and not beating the Cats two years in a row. And perhaps for declining attendance. Not for not making the playoffs last fall.

pretty sure there were plenty of instances of not playing smart and disciplined during hauck's first stay, especially in terms of personal fouls. maybe not statistically more than any other griz team, but still plenty of instances, including on national tv. i suspect such stats are kept - does anyone know a web site one could search to find them(bqm)

My prediction is that some will be calling for Bobby's head after every time he loses a game. Heck there are some already calling for his head and they haven't even played a game.

Imagine the pressure - not only is he expected to dominate right out of the gate, but all of his players have to be squeaky clean off the field.

No doubt there were any number of boneheaded plays. I used to yell @ the TV on 4th down when everyone in WaGriz & watching @ home knew he was going to fake a punt.

Here’s the statistic that counts from his first tour, 80-17. No guarantees that he will duplicate, a hell of a high bar for himself & team go forward.

Lol. No guarantees? I’ll bet $1 million on the UNDER please.
