Yup, and look where the Griz slid to in the last 2 years. Hopefully, a win over the Cats, playoff selection, and some advancement in the playoffs. But, if not, the slide will have continued.
Not really. 6-5 last year. Worst case this year is 7-4. Much more likely 8-3, followed by a home win in the playoffs, then a loss to NDSU at their dome, ending the season at 9-4 and on a highly UPWARD trajectory. The slide most definitely will NOT have continued.
So, do the Griz have to finish the season and accomplish these things, or should Haslam, the playoff selection committee, the pollsters and Griz fans just rely on your predictions?
Just for the sake of discussion, what if the Griz were to lose to the Cats and not make the playoffs? Is that still an upward trajectory, or would you admit that was more of a slide?
