"Culbertson graduate and Montana football commit Bridger Salvevold scored a go-ahead touchdown on a quarterback keeper with 25 seconds remaining as Team Blue rallied out of an early double-digit deficit to prevail 28-23 in the 41st edition of "The Clev" on a toasty Saturday evening at Bob Green Field. It was Team Blue's third straight win in the series."

Salvevold is a great athlete. I'm surprised that he was able to play and play well, given that he was coming off of a pulled hamstring. He'd hurt it in divisional track, did only a relay at State so he could at least come to State, and then pulled it again at State. I assume he will play on the D, but he is apparently also a terrific QB and the position is suited for him. I assume he'll play safety, but he also has good linebacker potential. I went to grade school with his grandfather and grandmother (and an aunt, the twin sister of the grandma). I look forward to getting to know them again. Salvevold is following in the steps of the great and talented Terry Falcon and Shayne Cochran, both of Culbertson.
