Bob Cantu - Serious Consideration

One name that should be considered for the Montana coaching job is Bob Cantu (former USC Interim Head Coach). He is a west coast native, has experience in the Big Sky Conference with his time at Sacramento State, is an excellent recruiter (recruited current players in the NBA such as Nick Young, Nikola Vucevic, OJ Mayo, Taj Gibson, DeMar DeRozan and Dewayne Dedmon), was named Pac-12 coach of the week twice and has BIG wins over Pac-12 powerhouses Arizona and UCLA as the interim head coach at USC. Honestly, I don’t understand why he isn’t a head coach currently.

Lol I am not Coach Cantu, just a USC Alum who lives in Montana now and loved what Cantu did at USC. IMO they should have kept him instead of hiring Andy Enfield. Andy couldn't win with the same players Bob beat the big boys with.

Hopefully Aslam will take a serious look at him.

Whomever, it needs to be done quickly. Then sit back and watch how many commits decommit and current Griz bolt.

I agree with the timing, but if they can secure the right guy whom the players can respect, I see the current slate of players staying.

That's what it boils down to, respect.
