13 DE on the roster
5 DT on the roster (without Harris) Definitely thin. Losing Ena sucked. Pretty sure he would have contributed this year. We'll see.

Not meaning to knock Harris b/c I know a lot of people were cheering for the guy and hoping for him to rise up but the reason he's probably left the team was that he was staring down riding the bench again.
On the contrary to saying our interior is thin we've got 4 guys (Kidder, Bradley, Peevey, Wilson) that will rotate a ton and play a bunch and a 5th (Davis) that is working his way in and provides some depth if a guy misses due to injury. Also if you watched the D-line rotation in the 2nd scrimmage you'd notice that they have a few rotating players that play DE and DT depending on the down and yardage to go.

If a 5'10" guy and a converted fullback can beat you out for playing time, sounds like your heart wasn't really in it to begin with...

Harris was listed at 280 pounds on the roster last season, a year in which he saw only brief action while battling the hamstring injury, but the tackle had been as high as 295. In the weeks after the tear, with his ability to work out shelved, the pounds started to fall off.
Harris, a 2012 graduate of Fairfield High, fell as low as 235 pounds. Despite what the rosters said at the start of fall camp this season, Harris was still looking up at 250 by the first practice Aug. 4.
