blackout

Yep, the south endzone is all that's left. This will probably be one of the lower attended homecoming game sin recent years, but as long as 19,000 season ticks are sold EVERY YEAR, and the students show each week, WHICH THEY DO, I'm pretty sure the UM is just fine with the attendance figures.

As for someone who said the Root deal is somewhat like a blackout, you are absolutely INSANE. Root Sports is AVAILABLE in over 10.7 million homes. I'm NOT very good at math, but I'm pretty damn sure that's several million more than the Montana Television network serves. Cmon Man

It's hard for us zealots to maybe see but the brand took a hit over the past year. Those on the margins will come back after time and some wins.

It didn't take a hit according to season ticket holders, as 19,000-plus were once again sold before the beginning of the season. And the students have sold out their allotment in each of the first three home games...

Relax man, my point was that in recent years every game was televised locally. Root Sports are great, however I don't believe that bigger is always better. Believe it or not there are local folks without cable and people used to be able to watch all the local games inside their RV tailgate spots (on local tv) when the weather turned nasty. It is a great thing we have going. It was also a great thing (especially locally) that we had going before Root Sports came along.

MOST of the RV's i see at wash-griz have dishes, but i'm sorry i'm not gonna feel sorry for anyone who has TICKETS to the game but prefers to stay outside and watch it on TV and now can't because of no sat dish on their RV..HELL NO!! and before you say that people will stop paying for their expensive tailgate spots because MTN isn't broadcasting the games, be sure you have proof of that. those tailgate spots have been like the holy grail, impossible to get, since wash-griz opened and that aint gonna change because of this TV deal...

I wonder how many are like me. I was planning on going. Been having trouble breathing just here in the Flathead. Went to the Dr and spent a couple hours and half the day on IV's with steroids and nutrients to help me breath. Dr no way I should go to the game the way the air is. Bummer :(
