BN is a clusterf*ck...has anyone checked out the game thread over there? smh

They've already gone from saying Stitt will never be successful at the D-1 level to predicting he'll be one and done and off to an FBS school.

And they are saying his offense is not innovative and neither is him going for it on nearly every 4th down opportunity. What coaches are they watching? This guy is Mike Leach on Steroids.

And as far as his innovative offense (they want specific examples over there) Watch some of the blocking on those screens to our RB's. Nothing even close to conventional on those blocking schemes. One time Jamal jones ran a route off the line just to get the DB to chase him as he blocks the OLB. Makes sense when you really think about it but this guy is doing wild stuff on offense.

It's another meltdown on Wombat Nation. Bitterness. Envy. Despair. Victims of journalists that covered a great game, against the #1, and who refused to cover the Wombats who did not have a game. These people are real to themselves.

I didn't think yesterday's game was all that exciting. First game of the season. Two teams I don't care about.
Re: Gazette putting reporter on Bobcats full-time

While I'm thankful that the Gazette has finally realized that Bobcat fans read the Gazette too, I must say that I'm less than excited that Greg Rachac is the chosen reporter. As a long time reader of the Gazette's sports pages and its coverage and/or non-coverage of the 'Cats, I've seen Rachac turn stories supposedly about the Bobcats into stories about the griz. I find his coverage of the 'Cats already suspect with the ancient history story about the NDSU buyout. Even if one gives him the benefit of the doubt as to his motives with this story, most thinking people would recognize this as just another opportunity for griz and NDSU fans to take another unwarranted shot at MSU.

This is the same reporter that has put out several articles in the last few days about the griz. The ol' grizette at it again.
I hate the Montana grizzlies and I couldn't be happier with my decision.
you want a response? Who gives a sh*t? That's my response. I had better things to do today than waste my time watching anyone but the Bobcats play football.

jiz excuses
Postby St George on Mon Aug 24, 2015 2:26 pm
What will be the top excuses the jiz give after being pummeled by NDSt?

10. Monte was having a bad day.
9. Their offense got gassed because they were scoring so much so quickly.
8. The smoke got in their eyes.
7. Stitt took a Stitt.
6. They kicked off to start both halves.
5. To many players tazed them selves the night before at a frat party.
4. NDSt's cheerleaders were flirting with the jiz.
3. It was too loud, even for the jiz.
2. ESPN took too much time for tv time outs, that gave the bison a rest.

and the Number 1. excuse is????
Postby AlphaGriz1 on Tue Aug 25, 2015 8:41 am

If you thought that little storm you went through last week was bad.....just wait until I cloud up and rain all over your parade.

Oh and the reason we lost this game is because NDSU is the best FCS team in the country. They have better players and more talent.
Excited for this game. More excited to watch the meltdown in fizzville that I predict will begin today.
On the other hand:

No doubt that was an epic win.

The fizz continue to disappoint me . . . by fielding what appears to be another good team.

You have to realize that those are in reference to Rachec writing the articles. BN was told last week by the Gazette editor that Greg would be their Bobcat beat writer this year, they were putting him in Bozeman and he would be putting out articles on the Bobcats each day. Soooooooo, some of those you posted were pointing out that wasn't the case. But good to know you guys have successfully turned another thread in to a Bobcat thread. You guys are the cutest little brothers we could have..... :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

Oh that's clear. It's also clear that Wombats are after him because he dared to cover the lead into the NDSU/UM game, and then wrote about its outcome and then refused to wrote a word about MSU not doing anything this past weekend, dared to write about the Griz and the opening game of FCS football, and ignored the Wombats by not writing anything about them during this time period when the Wombats did not have anything to write about!!!

The best part of Wombat Nation is recent years are the meltdowns about the Griz! This one is yet another spectacle, a veritable supermarket of pathologies. The entertainment value for Griz forums is priceless.

Oh god. I'm sure that's quite the read. Let me guess:

-- The Griz won because the officials gave it to them.
-- NDSU is terrible this year and will probably only win 3 games
-- NDSU would have rolled if it wasn't for the smoke
-- NDSU's O-Coordinator had money on the game and that's why they threw the ball with 2:30 left
-- The Griz defense isn't good because the NDSU offense sucks
-- With the cats' improved defense this year, they'll figure Stitt out and shut out the Griz.
-- The timekeeper gave the Griz an extra 3 seconds allowing them to win
-- Papa G is having a complete fucking melt down.

How close am I?

--Stitt does not do anything unconventional on offense and he is no different than any other coach who runs a hurry up offense (these people clearly either A: didn't watch the game or B: know absolutley nothing about spread offenses)

Don't forget these ones.....

--Stitt will be gone to the FBS after this year then the Griz will be screwed.
--Our Defense is weak. Possibly as weak as the Cat defense from last year.
--Not to mention that NDSU defense is horrible also.
--Stitt is a cocky arrogant prick. How dare he tweet that he's downtown having beers with Griz fans on a Saturday night after a huge win.
--Stitt interview at the half was cocky also and blah blah blah. :thumb:

Keep spinning, kid.

98% of your fans were dead wrong about the Griz, and hardly any of them can give deserved props without tripping over their own dicks trying to toss out excuses as to why we won.

Ever the perennial losers.

Don't tell the cats, but their defense does not appear to be improved. Their secondary might be even weaker than last year. They are saying they just need time to gel. But the talent just isn't there. The fact that they aren't red-shirting Strong at CB speaks volumes. Should be fun to watch unfold.

Somebody over at BN is crazy/jealous enough that they actually claimed that the 2015 Griz D is on par with the kittie D. Holy crap....

And kitty fans, you actually have to win big games to be the big brother. Now go home lil bro.

The difference between a classy program and a trailer park program:

1) A classy program values sportsmanship and can take a close loss with dignity. NDSU is a classy program.

2) A trailer park program trashes a game they didn't even play in, and castigates reporters that dared to report on it. A trailer park program also has it's state's largest septic tank next door to absorb all the crap from it's fans.

The Griz D will absolutely dominate some teams this year. NDSU has an amazing O-line and their offense is dialed.
I have asked Cat fans to tell me one player on their defense that would start for the Griz D other than Sheridan, and I'm dead serious. I can't think of any. I'm still waiting to hear some suggestions.

A little brother program keeps turning threads on their own board not about their big brother team into threads about their big brother team. Awe. That's so special.

Hey it was a griz fan that started this thread down this path. ;)

Did you guys want to talk more about Bison views. I read this thread because I was interested in that topic.

Is there a single aspect of MSU football that trumps that of UM football? Fan base, facilities, recognition, merchandising, revenue, not pussing out of big games, and long-term success, all go to UM. The margin in some of these categories isn't even close.

Further, what did Cat fans want this Billings reporter to write on? They didn't have a game, and I bet Ron Ash and his staff were all watching the Griz game on ESPN. I just don't understand that argument at all.

Here's a thought (credit to my wife):

Do you suppose NDSU wishes they had scheduled a 1-A opponent rather than the Griz? They win those on the road.
