Wow 300 plus posts on egriz from a so-called Bandwagon Bison fan......methinks someone has an infatuation with Griz football. Come on over bud, we may welcome you. Or maybe you want to wait til we win another title to be a fan since that's what all of you did with the Bison

I hear that there will only be 3/4 ton and 1 ton trucks allowed in the tailgate area for UNDSU game. Something about liability issues.

NDSU has played UNI & SDSU for conference titles
then maybe this montana game after homecoming games, that's where this "event" ranks in the last 4-5 years of NDSU football

Of course unlike bozo JC, we've won a few games that matter over the past 3 decades.
 
When I went to last years game in Fargo all the fat slob square heads came up to me and asked how their tailgate experience compared to the one in Missoula. With no trees or grass within sight and only asphalt under my feet I responded " Pretty much as intense and massive in size as here in Fargo. The only thing missing is the Grass, Trees, a picturesque River a rocks throw away and towering Mountains a few minutes walk away from our tailgate. Other than that it's very similar" I wanted to add HotChicks who were actually under double digit clothing sizes and gravy stained V necked white t shirts with pit stains and a fat hairy gut hanging from the bottom of said t shirt and the brat IV gurneys.
 
Went to our spring game today. In all honesty I couldnt make heads nor tails of our team. Offense looked dominant but many kids were held out.

Spring ball is great to wet the appetite. It really is hard to get a solid gauge on the true level most players are at. It is good a general idea of who is working themselves into the depth charts, and general offensive/defensive strategies.

For the GRIZ I feel the biggest positives from the spring were the play of CB's, implementing the base offense, Gustafson emerging as #1 QB, and 1st team OL improvement.
 
From talking to my Bison insiders....we have 3 stud qbs. Thus the reason McGinnis transferred. #2 Stick made a couple plays where it was wow..how is that guy not starting...then there is Wentz....he played one series ..dude is a rock star qb...all the potential in the world..NFL size and smarts

I hope 500 max. That's all they gave the Griz. Then they put all of us up in a corner of that crap pile of a dome away from the action. I hope karma comes around and they see a similar set up in Missoula....

My Bison buddies said the offense was really, really good and will be one of the better offenses in FCS. They did say, however, that the defense was awful and that they are worried for the first time in a while about the defensive side. They said the game in Missoula just got more interesting. These guys have been following the Bison for years... Not just the last couple. I trust their judgment.
 
As in most spring games there were many kids held out for various reasons. At least 3 starters on D never played a snap and several others hardly played. They will come around.
