For UM, this is "your tax [NOT]," uuuh, "your football dollars at work." I realize the golf team is not very big, and probably only one coach goes along ... but paying cross-country air fair has got to be insanely expensive. Or do they take the bus? :lol:

Near as I can tell, the only "revenue" sport Binghamton competes in is basketball (they're in the America East Conference). They do not compete in football, but support enough men's and women's teams to be a bona fide Division I athletic institution. BTW, their "official" name is apparently "State University of New York at Binghamtom." No wonder NY taxes are so out of sight.

I don't even think Hartford and Binghamton attend the same tournaments as the "Real" Big Sky schools. This arrangement just gives them a home so they can compete in NCAA Championship events.

So what's in it for the BSC? I'm thinking Fullerton got a hand job and a free car wash voucher for this...

Probably, but it was likely what's known in the industry as a SBHJ (strictly business hand job). Not an old fashioned.

More of a reach-around more likely.

Does ANYONE still believe Montana belongs in this third rate dumpster fire of a conference?? Our student athletes deserve sooo much better.

Until the $7M donation, I did. Now I don't. Now, I think UM should be in the Mountain West. I just wish that moving there meant a decent game to work toward. But it'll be awhile before stupid-ass bowl games are replaced by a legit playoff.

The Little 5 will be the ONLY level of college football WITHOUT a playoff system. I think it happens sooner rather than later.
