" At least now we know where Billy got his winning personality. I'm just upset it took Glenn too long to get rid of him. A new OC a few years ago may have made a difference. "

" I'll bet the parent/teacher conferences for little Billy were a real joy for the teacher. "

" Move on...I have heard from several players that Cockhill had an ego the size of Texas, and a temper to boot. He wasn't a good coach, and neither was Bob Cole. If he is such an innovative coach, why is he working as a banker instead of coaching? I don't think Burman or Glenn owe anybody an apology. If I was the worst in the nation at my position, I would have been fired a LOOOONG time ago. Cockhill lasted about 2 seasons too long. "

" Hey pops, did you ever think that the damage inflicted by your son has a lingering impact? Did you ever think how long the smart aleck punk that you call a son kept a job because of Joe's loyalty and in reality because he didn't fire your son three years earlier joe and his staff are all out of work? " Guys,
There is no sense piling on Bill's dad (if this is actually Bill's dad).
If this is BC's dad, responding with a letter to the editor would be pretty lame. Billy C. should be thankful to Joe Glenn for all the opportunities he was given.
If it is not, whoever posted this got a bunch of you all riled up, which is probably exactly what they wanted.
Better to not respond to such things.
Hypocritically yours,

" Bill,
Get back to work. You know the bank doesn't like you using the internet for personal purposes. "

" completely agree that Coach Cockhill was a scapegoat...but don't blame Glenn. The pressure was on make some kind of move. Glenn had to make the move in order to keep his and the other assistant's jobs. "

" Scapegoat or not, Bill left Laramie with some dough in his pocket. He still had a year left on his contract (~$150,000), plus what ever profit he made from selling his house on coach's row, which he probably bought for cost. I wouldn't mind someone paying me a couple hundred thousand to quit working for a while. "
