I wouldnt put the bobkitties beating wazzu as a best win. take a look their SOS and RPI. WSU is really really down

Being charitable, actually. WSU (7-5) is currently ranked #259 in RPI. That would place them #8 among Big Sky teams. That's despite a pitiful SOS rank of 309 ... which is below any team in the Big Sky.

BYU (8-6) does not stand out either. They are ranked 147 in RPI (good for 3rd place in the Sky) and 155 in SOS (6th in the Sky).

Right now, the only "quality" win was the Griz over Georgia State (RPI 65, SOS 120). FWIW: G-State also got pounded by Creighton, 93-68.

The SDSU win isn't "quality"? (Queue the Zen and TAOMM references again...)

I think he means with respect to RPI....SDSU is currently 225 for RPI and at 338 for SOS. A little shocking. They seemed like a better team than Georgia Southern who has RPI of 69 and SOS of 63.

South Dakota State: RPI 225, SOS 339.
Put those numbers inside the Big Sky, they’d rank seventh in RPI and last by a bunch in SOS. (Right now Sac State as the weakest SOS in the BSC, at #303.)

apparently those compiling the midmajor poll don't seem to care too much about SOS or RPI...given SDSU's position in the most recent poll...
