BigSky 16 Seed in latest Bracketology

Griz are certainly not a 16 seed, just eye test and talent makes that clear....I think...but I can't really argue with the 15 seeds ahead of us George Mason, Radford, UC Urvine, and Lehigh (Actually, I would argue we are ahead of Lehigh probably)

Oh well. All the Griz can do is keep winning and getting better. The big sigh is not a strong conference for a variety of reasons, I believe the conference has the longest drought without a win in the ncaa tourny. Hope the Griz can end that this year!

Let’s win the tourney and then worry about the seed.
Bingo!

Bracketology this early is just guessing anyway ... "educated" maybe, but still guessing.

The only thing that's pretty sure is that only the winner of the conference tournament will get a bid. The Sky is still sitting at #26 RPI ... which means it is strictly a one-bid conference.

I will take a 16 seed if we don't win the tournament though....
Griz aren't getting into the tournament, if we don't win the conference tournament. Unfortunately, the Griz would have to all but go undefeated to even be considered for an at-large berth into the NCAA tournament.

The bsc is 16th in this every year until the selection committee chooses, then they rarely are.
Very true, Everett. If recent history proves anything, the Griz would likely get an improved seed if their reach the NCAA tournament. Three times the Griz have reached the tournament in consecutive years, and have never been seeded lower the second time.
